GT6 has no instruction manual?

My Anniversary Edition does have a printed manual, although it really isn't anything special.


EDIT: And it's extremely short and doesn't really explain much.

Oh, ok. Well, in that case, it's practically the SAME as getting nothing. I think they did the little "manual" slip for EU and UK. No biggie then. I just needed closure.

Now i'm off to chop down some more pesky trees.

Oh yeah, and Shirrako, did you get 25 exclusive cars with your copy? :D

GT6 Manual.

  • Use X to go
  • Use Square to stop
  • Use Triangle to reverse
  • Use left stick to turn
  • Any of the above, and more, can be changed to your liking in the Options menu
  • Press Start to access the Options menu.
Seriously, though, 1) as others have stated, the manual is digital, but I'm sure you could print it if you felt the need and 2) what do you need from the manual? It's not a complicated game and it's exactly the same setup as its predecessors.

Yeah, i figured the manual is in the game. But... i'm still trying to figure out how you access the Beyond the Apex II App that's supposed to be there as well.



And you got the INSTRUCTION MANUAL which usually comes with a video game?

Sorry bud can't help you I don't even know what that in bold means I have heard of App but that was on a phone my daughter had so no good here. Good luck with it bud.
 
Press the start button while in the main menu of GT6, click the black question mark icon with a yellow box around it that says "User Manual", enjoy. :)👍

Why do you want a paper manual anyway? You should applaud the fact that they aren't chopping down tree's to print manuals that the vast majority never look at.

Manuals are dying out, but I miss them. Sometimes it's nice to get away from the screen and curl up on the couch or in bed with the manual. Have you looked at the ones from the early GT games? Fun to read.

I miss when games came with physical manuals because I liked to read them while pooping. Luckily I have Reddit on my phone.

Perhaps a little TMI, but I have to agree. Gave me something I could enjoy when I wasn't playing. Now for the grind.
 
I just got my copy of the game from EB/Gamestop in Toronto. Got home, opened the case to find nothing inside. Okay i understand a manual is not really needed as it can be accessed digitally for those who want it.

My concern is, shouldn't there be some sort of booklet, from what I remember, they always had warnings inside and legal stuff. Is that all not relevant anymore?

Oh well, thought I would just come here and see what others had to say and decided to leave a couple words of my own.
 
Um folks are complaining about a manual? In a few years everything will be all digital. As in no disc at all.

Pretty much. The 2014 model Sony Bravia TV's will be able to access playstation now (gaikai)
