Hello fellow GT6 drag racers, after months of planning and testing I am proud to be able to release the drag car classes list to everyone. I know that there is already a few people that attempted to make a list before but to no avail. What makes my list different from the others is that mine is well thought out and planned. Each and every car on this list has been tested against each other over many months so you can be sure that they do in fact run very close to each other. Some editing may have to be done in the future especially as more updates become available due to fluctuating physics. If possible I'd like to try and get this thread a sticky that way it will be even easier to find it when you aren't sure what car runs with another ON AN EVEN TREE. A very special thanks to the following people who helped me make this list possible: @a3picGamer47, @Vanatic, and everyone else who has helped us along the way. While the list isn't complete yet it will be updated over time. Without further ado, here is the list so far.

Awesome job shells! Thanks to you guys for going out of your way to get this done!! 👍

It's not even close to being done but it's a good start there's about 140 cars on this list so far. Hopefully this will reduce the amount of people bringing over powered cars like GT-R's to race against Supra's. It's still going to happen though I'm sure but hopefully not as much.

I know it's not a couple list but it's a great start so far.I can't imagine how long it took just to do 140 cars.

Even though this is here, I still doubt people will stop bringing Veyrons and GTRs into lobbies with cars in a much lower class XD. And I have my X2014 Standard and Fan car both drag tuned just to race them ;)

Soo, the veyrons wheelie?

I don't know, what I do know is they run with the 2J. None of these cars are in a particular order like which one is the fastest in the class they are just in order by class from the fastest class to the slowest class.

Right, so whom tuned the Veyron then?

As far as I'm aware they used to be able to wheelie, however they were slower in doing so.... Wondering if that's changed?
If not, then the SX4 out launches the Veyron and can actually come out on top. The Veyron does pull, but they are very close.

Also, the TVR speed 12 is a fantastic run against the Adventador, yet you have them in two separate classes.

3rd crack by someone at a thread like this, hopefully this one will continue to evolve into something reasonably accurate and useful. 👍

Would it be possible to place a astrix next to cars tuned to wheelie, just to clarify things a little better?

The Speed 12 may have ran with the Aventador on previous updates but on the current update (1.13) it beats the ZR1 by half of a car while the Aventador runs with the R34's and both the Aventador and many R34's beat the ZR1 by multiple car lengths, the only way a ZR1 will win against the Aventador or some of the R34's is if it trees but that isn't how I tested all of the cars, I tested on an even tree and these were the results. Usually when a car trees it will jump up 1-2 classes, sometimes even 3 classes depending on how big the tree was, I've beaten well tuned ACR's in a ZR1 before with a 1 car tree. I'll think of something to show which cars wheelie and update it later on today.

@SmokeNrubber It was my Veyron and it doesnt wheelie

And the SX4?

I just ran my Venti vs Coco's Speed 12 this afternoon, seemed to be perfectly matched still. ( same old tunes I might add )
Perhaps, and I'm not having a go at you or anyone else here, but differing tuning methods will result in various outcomes.

There are a few tuning tricks to 4WD's and RWD's that many people don't know about. The SX4 and the Escudo are evenly matched and are about a car behind a 2J.

Not starting a fight either, but was it a dead even tree?

No such thing as a dead even tree, and you two are from different countries.... making it practically impossible to tree evenly.
But at any rate, we don't gauge our runs off one pass alone.

Multiple runs, similar results.
Normally ( though we didn't today ) we would change cars and repeat, just to be certain.

Well, we got quite close. It was much less than something like a bumper. And Shells would go into Full car to launch on a US ghost and i would go into full car when we had an EU ghost. So we could see if we treed or not.

We ran hundreds of times in these cars over many months this was very well planned. While we are from different countries we did get even trees, I also learned how to judge it even off of a bumper tree, usually a bumper tree is half a car to a car win. I wish there was an easier way to do this though because this is VERY time consuming.

A better way to do this would be to play "the real waiting simulator" and speedtest to come out. Then compare times then, theres literally no way to get an exact time and comparison without a speedtest.

If that's going to happen it would of already been released. If Kaz doesn't like drag racing he isn't going to give us anything.

When that comes out the 1/4 mile scene will become big again for awhile then drama will follow and in a few months time it will be dead again. To be honest I'm not looking forward to that one lol. They released speed test on GT5 a year after it came out, I think that the GT6 2.0 update will bring speed test again.

I think it probably will happen, and following PD's "delays" like the course maker not even being released yet, i still think there's possibility of one being released with or as DLC for GT6 2.0

I hope I'm proven wrong but honestly I can't see it happening.
