The lighting in GT6 is terrible. I could stop there and you'd likely agree but I'll elaborate a bit.
When viewing cars at the dealership the light comes from the sides. The result is that everything darker than white becomes a black blob, viewing the Reventon is hopeless unless you select the gallery view.
This is probably an elaborate way of insulting the user, because if the user was important he'd be allowed to cast some light over the game. But it seems PD want to keep their users in the dark.
Having some light being cast from the front would not only be useful in seeing the cars, it would be realistic as some players will keep light sources in their dwellings.
Then there are the headlights of the cars. When I'm driving on Nürburgring I can see the ground in front of me. I simply cannot do that with the same car on Ascari or Willow Springs. And with the meteorological conditions usually allowing clear skies and a blanket of stars filling the sky you could expect the track not to be pitch black as the moon would illuminate it quite a bit. Still, I would at least expect the headlights to work as well on Willow Springs as on the Nürburgring.
