We all love your videos, so why not.
Ferrari 330 P4 At The Nürburgring. 3 Lap Race. Total Time 19:35.099. Fast Lap 6:29.181. Winning Margin Over The BMW McLaren F1 0:57.815. No Aids. This video is not to my usual standards as a result of the recovery process for my back surgery (meds) and the pain generated during this race at the Nürburgring. Secondly the transmission paddle shifter on my wheel is starting to double up-shift on me so sometimes I was on the wrong gear as a result.

Hi there, GTHunters!

Less than 12 hours to go for this round - if you have any aces-in-the hole it's time to start sneaking 'em out of that sleeve.
I have been lost for awhile up in the great white north (no rabbits unfortunately, though bear and moose are aplenty) and just returned to battle with urbanity. Hope you guys had fun wrestling with these challenges - final results should be up soon.

Thanks for participating!

20 minute race.......1 lap behind all the field.......30 minutes win time .

Are we living in twilight zone or
giphy.gif

Just wake up here and is to hard to imagine how Boogeyman did this , in fact ...... i can't imagine it at all.

Possessed car? Possessed driver ? Possessed PS3? Whatever it is we need an exorcism asap.

PS
Harry da druida , i have my daughter here and playing time is quite short , the bad thing is that didn't gold the Senna race . It was a good chance but didn't play it again.

@photonrider you missed this @smoothbore12 score:

THE BaronBlitzRed TROPHY:

@smoothbore12: 1.619

Does that read as 15:01.619 then? I'm so confused ….

Sorry the picture on that one wasn't very good, meant to go back to that challenge but didn't get the time.

Was a little bit confused by the Reventon …. now I'm tied up not only in work but in knots . . .

Thank you @photonrider for running this thread 👍

You're very welcome, RMan72 - unfortunately we are now in the closing stages of this project.
More news soon on this when I return on Sunday to arrange the final round.

Very quiet .......
Time to make some " noise" ......

You added a lot of life to this thread recently, buddy - many thanks for all the smiles you generated.

Happy to add something more than a post card Harry.
You did a very good work here and for so long, from where i stand what you did here is remarkable but as we use to say all things ( the good ones mostly) have an end.
Maybe it time for some changes , we are a few people , many events , and newcomers are not attracted .
I don't know why they don't participate ,but i think many people still play gt6 .
Perhaps some changes must follow , as in real life when you loose customers you do something to be more
attractive .
Must go now to return my daughter , will talk again .

WHAT DO YOU MEAN CLOSING STAGES!!!!!!!

If you are thinking of stopping I will take it over and keep it going.

Haven't you had enough second-hand goods? :dopey:

I see that you are already doing very well with the 'Challenge Hub' which is your own project - very nicely done. Keep it up. Build it to your specifications. I also see that the B-Spec HUB which I started off and had a particular 'personality' is now not the same creature as it once was - and in fact has turned into something else. For instance, I would run the same races concurrently in both A-Spec and B-Spec Hubs so that drivers could see how their robot drivers would do in the same race - these have fallen by the wayside.
To take another's project and then assume the mantle is part of your style, as demonstrated, but do you want to add yet another 'HUB' to your belt?
Why?
There should be no problem for you to create as many HUBS as you wish in here (with oversight by the staff of course as to duplication) and I would actually say (if you can handle it) that it would be a good thing - hey, the site will always benefit from additional activity - but I don't think it's necessary to keep acquiring the projects of other members - do your own thing.

This HUB was the work of many, many members and I'd like to keep it that way, untarnished, unadulterated, and with its own unique personality from beginning to its official close-down.
There may be a time in the future when new players, who would have just got GT6 to play with, come in here and read up on this project from beginning to end in understanding the game.
As well, I would like the OP to be a proper tribute to all the members who participated in here after the project is closed-off.

Appreciate all the hard work you are engaged in towards maintaining GT6 activity, but I would prefer you focus on the two Hubs you are hosting - they should be sufficient to fill all further 'challenge' needs.

This does not mean, either, that any other member here is forbidden to create their own challenges in separate threads in the GT6 Forum. It has been done before, and can always be done again. 👍

To all players:
Having given much thought to it, and seeing that many of the events in the last round had only a single participant, I feel that GT6 (and this HUB, born in the Seasonal Events forum) is now in its final stages - and no doubt in the coming year we may be seeing PD attempting to draw upon the player-base they lost (whatever player-base they lost) with a more attractive game than GTS - or at the very least dressing GTS further in a way that will bring back those players that depended on a series-type game that has many of the beloved features that former iterations had.
With this in mind, I will, in the coming weeks, arrange a last boardful of challenges, which will be open to all players, as a send off to the game and the games we played in this thread.
To try and keep flogging a dead horse would only besmirch all the wonderful fun we had in here. It would be more deserving to all who participated here over the course of four years to have a glorious and fun-filled end to the project.

Send me your challenges via PM.
I will sort through all these challenges (and these would include both random challenges sent in by any player as well as challenges from the Ticket winners of the last round) and will put together a final round.
After that final round is over and the OP is finalized with all the winners who ever won in here enthroned, I will then request the Administration to close this project down permanently as we await a further opportunity from Kaz and PD via a new game or an enhanced version of GTS to restart a similar HUB in the appropriate forum in the future.
Thank you for your attention, and above all -Thanks to all the superfine drivers who played in here.
