Thanks @BHRxRacer

Yes i can count, The question is do you have reading comprehension skills? Turn 10 have modelled more cars than PD for their latest game and the fact they have outsourced doesnt put PD one up on them . If FM5 was on xbox360 then FM5 would have FM4 models, They could easily do a PD and add FM4 models and they would have more models than GT's premium models i believe.

I hope you are right.

Model? oh dont you dare, they laser scan em, they hardly put as much effort in the game as PD does. and take a look at Forza 5, looks good right? but i dont know if its a next gen good. Ofcourse the autovista looks magnificent but during the races their lighting engine is waaaay to standard, it hardly looks like real life, probably the reason the cars look so CG as well.

I agree that details are limited.

Highly unlikely that the replay mode he is talking about refers to the standard replay mode. I think we would have seen that by now if that's all it was.

It needs output from a data logger to begin with. It makes sense that this output is heavily related to the currently demonstrated gps visualizer replay mode as it will be doing a very similar thing - a CAN-BUS data log of a recorded lap + GPS positional info.

The identical car thing make sense and also seems to match up with the demonstration of the GPS data logging demo at Willow Springs with the gt86 on track and in the game.

The reason why it hasn't shown up so far is telling...at the very least you are going to have to have some compatible can bus data logger here.

The only hope I really have left is that it's a Day1-unlock deal, because at the same time, we haven't seen anything from the games GPS-mode to show its connection either, putting it in a neutral territory if it exists at all.

But, why would it need GPS-position data for a stationary rig ?, GPS doesn't record track-bumps or deficiencies, it records the vehicle transmitter's position relative to whatever satellite it uses. You can't tell me the GT86's OEM suspension will have the necessary sensors to record such data, the price for that alone would have Toyota cringe at the estimate of what that'd cost . The 7-post rig, I believe, must run off of G-sensor readout's (probably from a Race-Grade data-logger) for "lateral inclination, downthrust and other car body movements during the test run" - all of which won't be provided in GPS data.

And again, if it'll require such detailed data-parameters in need of capable, expensive data-loggers, why would they limit it to just 1 car that more than 90% of GT players will never drive ?

Though at this point, I'm pretty much ready to give up on GT6's launch, and just come back to it in another 2 years like I did with GT5, haha

As much as i don't want to tax BHR (great job btw), i will request one car. Just one car (out of like a hundred) for me.

The Ford GT40 Mk1. Black if possible.

From the Daytona race I uploaded I can tell the AI is still kind of stupid, but it doesn't matter much I'm used to it.

First, thanks for posting these. And I agree with you about the Daytona race. You pass those cars like they are standing still. How much fun is that? It shows that the rabbit chase races are a waste of time, imho. You have two laps to pass all the cars in the field, so the game has to handicap the AI to make that possible. I hope GT7 ditches this for a different model ... maybe one where the AI races hard and you have to qualify for a place in the grid? Maybe it's based on past race results, or maybe you have to take a hot lap? Or, what if there was a difficulty slider and you could make it harder to earn more money? Anything has to be better than having to race an AI that is on cruise control.

That grid...........👎

I am not sure this part of it would specifically need the GPS data, but it would need it to see position on the track in the replay to see how the suspension reacts, I imagine. Maybe not.

As to the limit on the one car - ask PD on this one. One thing is for sure, the GT86, available in JP only, IS the only car available at the moment with the correct data logger for the replay analyser to work. You would have thought it would make sense to allow some kind of compatibility with some off the shelf odb2 plug in device, but no.

I think you may have set yourself for disappointment with this one - it always was going to be quite a specialised function, not the meat and potatoes of the GT experience, which has always been about more than just one feature.

I agree, but it was in Intermediate. I'm sure in Expert, plus setting the A.I to 11, we'll get a better challenge... hopefully.

I just hope the game doesn't rely on using Veyrons, Huayras and GT Citroens to beat you in a Corvette. I just hate that. Especially when you end up winning. The A.I should be able to keep with you with a similar car. I want grids with cars of the same category, and I want them to be nose to nose races. You could do that in GT5, but it required a lot of tampering with the game options and it only worked with a few cars.

In GTPSP you could adjust the difficulty from D to S I think. Why they don't bring that feature in GT6, too

Hi!
Nobody answered me about the RM. It seems the Race Modification has disappear in GT6. As the result, all the former RM became LM Race Car, Touring Car, Race Car, Rally Car and so on. Is there any RM available in any menu?

From what we've seen so far, no more RM available.

I think most of my questions are waiting one the Day One Patch or later.

I keep waffling between excited (AI) and bummed (livery editor, track creator) by what I hear - and I appreciate the effort and time these guys have gone to in posting pics and testing stuff out.

Keeping it simple:

A) Have there been any gravel or snow rally driving challenges or races you have encountered?

B) Are there any A-Spec career races in Rally racing or is it only in arcade mode for Rally?

C) What courses are available that have gravel or snow (even arcade)? Any surprises?

Great. Job on the pics and info, thanks if you have time to look into it.
