I seem to be able to get quicker lap times by using the emergency/outer lane rather than following the standard track during online games with low powered cars... does anybody know if this is the norm? even for real life tracks?
If my understanding is correct, the reason for taking a wider line is much like taking a karting line. because of the low power, it is better to take a less optimal route through the corner in order to keep momentum
