GT6 standard cars wtff

Regarding the physics department there is room for debate; one would say FM5, the other GT6 frankly they are both good at it in their own perspective, I can't judge as i haven't tried neither of the 2.

For the excitement of the races, the sounds and the AI however it's fair to say there is no debate on who demolishes the other tough...

GT6? More high review scores after all. Unless you're basing the overall game on AI and sound. If that's the case you could have it look like Pole Position II on Atari with great sounds and brilliant AI and you would say it was the best game?
 
I'm so glad that they didn't get rid of my favorite M3 CSL. I don't care if it's not premium, it looks fine the way it is. Maybe my expectation is real low, but I think most standards cars look OK to me.
I use the bonnet view when playing so I don't get to see it during races, only in replys. Physics, sense of speed and options matters the most to me, the rest is secondary.

Sounds like you haven't played the game? How can you say the only improvement is more content? Anyhow, there are quite a few standards that look near premium now and have been highly upgraded. There was a thread for this that compared standards from GT5 to GT6 and they are VASTLY improved.

Some standard cars may have been improved on graphics but a lot of them are still ps2 quality, my point is new generation console is already out and gt6 still have graphics from ps2, unacceptable!

"May have" way to downplay so things seem as bad as you think they are. Plus even stating that the only improvement is content just discredits everything you wrote. Funny how no one complained about GTHD when that was GT4 in HD not even touched up.

I don't think it discredit anything I wrote as I am not the only one who notice the ps2 cars. Reason why people complain about gt6 is that this is the 6th series and that ps4 is already out and yet gt6 is still in between ps2 and ps3 quality.
 
The Aston Martin DB7 Vantage is an example of an improved standard. It looks fantastic compared to the GT5 model and drives better too. It's my favourite car so I'm happy they sorted it out nicely.
