A game which will live up to the hype and keep me captivated for months.

Um....newsflash......GT6 is years away......

If you have forgotten already, GT5 is what? Maybe like 4 months old??

We still have tons of GT5 left.

I want LM cars from 1970, (including the 917).
Damn I want to recreate that race soooooo bad.
That means I'd also need a grid editor, and the 1970 layout for Le Mans. If I had that, I would never have to buy a racing game again.

- Ditch the damn Kei cars. They've been in every single GT and I've never bought one. I don't care.

- Enough with the ridiculous car counts. Trim it down to about 200 cars - with an even balance of road and race models. Have entire sets of cars (e.g. Super GT, DTM, ALMS, etc.) with at least one track from each series.

- Have it so that the license tests are more like an actual race academy than a tutorial. Lessons should be on things like weight transfer, grip levels, and such like - and make them compulsory again. If they are fun, people won't mind them. You could even have all of the lessons take place at a Skip Barber location like Laguna Seca or Road Atlanta.

- Proper race regulations. Flag systems, safety cars, vehicle 'inspection' and such like.

- Have an adjustable difficulty level similar to F1 2010 - so playing on easy gives you races of 2 or 3 laps, whereas playing on expert would be full length races with pit stops from day 1.

- Livery editor, with the fully customisable mode of Forza 3 but ALSO the simple livery creator of GRID, to allow novices to create nice liveries without spending hours and hours on them.

- Multiplayer with a 'skill selector' - which could be based on a player's licenses or just their number of wins, sort of like manual matchmaking.

This is what I would do with GT6 if I was appointed executive producer at Polyphony Digital. It's kind of a departure from what people expect from Gran Turismo, but I like racing more than driving anyway.

I'd like to see a simple "fastest lap ever" addition on each track, whether career mode or arcade. So, if you went to, say, Tokyo for a race, there's be a little label saying "Fastest lap ever: 1.45.567". The you should be able to click on it and see what car you were driving and when. It shouldn't just be confined to the practice in career and time trial in arcade.

More classics...
>Chevy '58, '59
>Ford Thunderbird
>Tucker Torpedo
...and they'd have to be premium...and available in arcade mode xD
And truck racing. that would be sick

Drag strip,Older cars such as the cosworths,MkII escorts,Older DTM cars,Older touring cars,More upgrade choice,More tracks

BRANDS HATCH.
Spa, Imola, Istanbul Park, Silverstone, Cadwell Park, Road Atlanta, Brno, Bathurst.

Unhackable international leaderboards.

Porsche.

Aston Martin V8/V12 Vantage (why oh why wouldn't you include it in GT5...?)

Front aero plates and rims for standards.

More realistic sound for V8s with racing exhausts.

More detailed engine/induction tuning options.

import your gt5 cars to gt6

Player dealerships - players are able to buy up to 10 of friends cars that you could choose and get money from the buys

Expand B-spec mode - give the player the ablity to be a crew member free roam behind pit wall and when the car comes in use a combination of buttons to change the tires or fuel the car by tapping a button fast

all tracks have the option of time change

More Race moddable cars

Drag racing

Custom car color maker - where you can mix your own paints for a price

Spectator mod or fan mode - set up a race and free roam around the stands/track and relax, watch a race enjoy the rich amazing graphics

more options in track maker - let the player draw the track out and add trackside objects such as in modd nation racers

Indy cars - indy is in this game why no "indycars"

trade hub - station where people can add up to 5 cars and trade them safely. being prompted yes or no and if both say yes the trade is done with no problems. also trades can be done by invites to the station

Release it when it's ready, not before.

Completely agree. No matter how much time they need, no matter how much bugs must be corrected, no matter how many hours of REAL betatesting is needed... Give us AT LEAST a 100% fully enjoyable, complete videogame for what we're (probably) going to pay.

I feel like I've paid my 70 euros for my legit GT5 copy only for the right of being a sort of "unofficial" betatester, and still the game lacks of many important features (damn, 24h endurance without saving? Maybe when I've no more a life...?)... Problem is, most good videogames betas are completely FREE before they will be released as a really complete retail product.

Hope PD (and us) will learn this lesson as soon is possible...

I want Porsches! I dont want RUF! I want Porsches!

Porsche Carrera GT,
911 Turbo S,
911 GT3 RS,
911 GT2 RS,
Boxster S,
Cayman R.

bottom line is, I WANT PORSCHES!

ok, thats all i wanna say:banghead:

ALL limitations removed, ALL cars premium, Being able to CHOOSE which car you win for completing a series, more money for winning special or bonus races, more bonus races.

although, I'm pretty sure I'm not going to get GT6.

No grinding for cars to start off. Just give 20 million credits instead of 20 thousand. This way players can decide if they want to blow it on one 20million car or learn to budget and buy a few nice ones they can pamper. They have to pamper them because if they damage them they would need more credits to fix them. This will also prevent people from punting or driving recklessly and improve the online experience. This can be disable but their cars will be a ghost online if full damage is disable.

Next would be to have higher number of cars on the grid as priority rather than better graphics. Maybe a graphics option to lower resolution cars and tracks to have more cars on the grid. Full high resolution with less car on the grid.

Finally more cars prefferably premium. They should have no more excuses to do this since they will have had all the time to upgrade the standard cars and add new ones. Plus more classic race and sports cars please. MGTC's, Bugatti race cars, Triumph TR series, Austin Healeys, Porsche, old rally cars (my personal early 70's Toyota Corrolla) and F1 cars. With all cars able to race mod at minimal racing liveries for numbers and bodykits nothing fancy the current one in GT5 I can live with but all cars even without cockpit view is okay with me.

Oh and i almost forgot. LAN Mode! with unlimited number of cars and classes. I don't know am I asking to much from a PS3 so maybe then when PS4 comes out then they won't have anymore excuses to tell us.

Here's one:

LESS PRIZE MONEY.

Frankly I think the game's too easy, financially.

Also, no ridiculous price tags for certain special cars.

Special cars should be prize cars only and can't be bought , sold or gifted. This should make poorly skilled drivers want to be better drivers to win them. So a really hard drivers skils test maybe on passing cleanly on a ten lap race without touching any of the cars on track.

A friend of mine had a 917 kit car with the Corvair powerplant. Never got to take it for a rip though. I'd love to have it in game

- Bspec to be made as an option like it was in GT4
- More new cars, no Standards.
- Some more real-world tracks and classics from previous GT titles
- BETTER ENGINE SOUNDS DAMMIT!!
- A more streamlined menu system, with elements from GT4
- MORE EVENTS KAZ!! I DON'T FREAKING CARE ABOUT C-SPEC OR B-SPEC

You can see the two most important ones for me:D

More real life events, i.e. ALMS, GP1, GP2 Formula 2/3 etc, LMS More SuperGT BTCC, DTM
Racing brakes modification back from gt4

You're telling people what you want in a game that you aren't going to get? That's productive. I bet you're also the kind of person that complains about how elections go but doesn't bother to vote 👎

Special Stage Route 11, Redrock Speedway, and instead of crappy Eiger Nordwand, bring back Grindelwald!

I want to see another 10 threads all with the same title.

I think 80% of the cars will be ported from gt5

All premium cars no standard, old tracks from other gt games, more wheel choice and RM conversions like in gt games of old, livery editor

1) WAY MORE EVENTS
2) Real restrictions for certain events, one make races for every company (GT4)
3) AI that acts like their racing
4) Minimum 500 Premium cars
5) More real life tracks and tracks from past GT
6) More realistic modding/tuning options and format (engine swaps, brakes, tuning your full adjust suspension)
7) PORSCHE PORSCHE PORSCHE
8) dont need 50 different skylines
9) get rid of the XP system all together, it was Forza's thing and works for them...Your not Forza and don't try to be
10) Top Gear challenges... fun challenges based on the Top Gear tv show with their humor and creativity. "Be the stig" Take the top 20 lap times and cars from the last season that the stig was on Top Gear and make those times in that car a "special event" on its own.
11) WAY more race mods, don't need every car to be able to RM but at least 200 would be nice (mainly sports cars, road cars that are used in club racing or autocrossing)
12) Interactive "Skip Barber" racing school
13) More "race cars" (lms gt2, gt3, many others, new and classic)
14) more interactive B-spec, don't just let him get better as his xp levels up (your going to get rid of the XP system for GT6, hypetheticaly) give us interactive "driving skills" drills/practice so WE can teach him the racing line, proper breaking, passing, ext..
15) I like the engine/ chassis rebuild but expand on it and it shouldn't cost 50% of the car. about 10% sounds good.
16) a REAL and noticable damage model (may just be me but i'm updated to the latest patch and have hardly seen any good damage on or off line)
17) Take whatever time you need to get it right, if you take 6 years i wouldn't care as long as its finished game!!!

love the "be the stig" idea. would be a career mode in career :)

what about hillclimb races. used to go watch them in rl when i was younger. great fun. (lancia delta hf integrale + raketenbruno ftw)

More actual race tracks, Road Atlanta, Bristol , Mosport , Watkins Glen and Sonoma are places that at least some of us in North America have been to or actually driven on. Failing that maybe the ability to buy for a small fee the ability to download certain real tracks from various locations throughout the world. This could be expanded as per demand.
Maybe fewer number of cars, who needs every Miata and Civic ever built, just to get the car count up. More actual race cars like the classic Porsche 956, maybe some Can-Am cars a 1969 Penske-Donahue Trans-Am Camaro anyone and the ability to race mod more cars.
I would like to see engine damage rather than the present rev limiters. So if you rev them too high or for too long they grenade as they would in real life but if you get it right your gonna have a rocket at least for a while maybe it makes it to the finish maybe not but you will know for next time and a little more refinement of body damage. This game is a simulator right.
If they want to get serious about Nascar they need to be able to play with not just front and rear but side to side adjustments for camber, spring rates, tire pressures and weight placement.
Maybe the ability for experienced drivers to by pass the more basic licensing that new people might need.
B-Spec, make it a part of the game with certain limitations like a maximum % of the race or something not a separate entity, I used it in GT4 during endurance races when I needed a break. But running it all night to get it done defeats the purpose IMHO.
The ability to save during an endurance race, 24 hours of racing is going to take me a week to get through and if the game doesn`t freeze with an hour to go I will be happy all the while thinking what the constant heat is doing to my hardware.
Don`t get me wrong I love the game and keeping it similar now that they have something to work with in Gt5 but adding some things, taking away others and refining what we have could make it much easier and faster to produce GT6 and get it out before PS4s make us retire our PS3s.
