The question I have been having is not so much, "what do you want to see for GT6," as is, "when does GT5 stop and GT6 begin?" This can also be asked for other games as well. With the downloadable updates like we have seen (like them or hate them), it makes it so that PD can continually update the game and add or in some cases remove features. As the most common "wants" seem to be more premium cars and additional tracks, this seems to indicate that many would be satisfied with some good updates to GT5.
Realistically, I suppose GT6 will probably just get released on the Playstation 4 or 5 and we will get even better graphics and hopefully better processing speeds. I assume there will be just as much whining about things being left out and incomplete as there has been for GT5 though.
As far as my want, please add a shifter kart to progress to from the PDI racing kart.
No Prius, World War * trucks, 30 Skylines, or endless Miatas/RX7's
A better cockpit view, preferably higher up to see the track, and with a fixed camera (In real-life, your eyes are fixed on the track, not bouncing around with your head)
An official drag-strip with a christmas tree (even though I never drag race)
Well, let's make this plain and simple. I'll use bullet points.
More realistic damage
Cars that get dirty quicker
Turn all cars "premium"
More real tracks, less made-up ones
Bring back the old Rome Circuit from GT3
Be able to have time change on every track
Be able to set a race time limit like an endurance race
Have the arcade competition be much harder if chosen
More modern, well known cars, less stupid cars from the 60s!!!
Be able to run in certain series like NASCAR, FIA GT Championship, Formula 1, ALMS, or the InterContinental Le Mans Cup
Have a dragstrip and test track
In-game save (I know it's coming, but still...)
More comprehensive tuning (I know it's still very comprehensive in GT5, but I always seem to want a little bit more out of my game)
Be able to start a team with multiple drivers all at once
Not have unrealistically slow/fast cars like the X1 Prototype (I mean, what's the point) and the Kubelwagen or whatever (it doesn't even feel like racing any more)
Make the lap options go up to 500
More comprehensive replay options
Less glitches
DISABLE VOICE CHAT (I hate it when people curse at me over the PS3!!!)
The ability to drive on regular highways using information downloaded from the web like Google Earth etc. Historic racer cars (Pre-modern F1 cars, 1960's F1 and Indy cars, historic road racing cars) More historic race tracks. Mid-Ohio, Road Atlanta, Barber Motorsports Park, Virginia International Raceway. Series mimicking SCCA, Historic Trans AM, Daytona Protypes, ALMS. A tool that could be given to car manufacturers that would allow them to enter data for a car they manufacture or have rights to and will generate game data that can be used by PD to create a car file that can be distributed on the Playstation Network. Add ons like cars and tracks that can be purchased on Playstation Network. More later.
I pretty much agree with most of the wants, but maybe OP should edit the first post including them all in a list as i don't think PD will be reading every post.
Then, maybe, conflicting wants/desires could be put to a vote. IE George wants more cars and Billy wants less. 👍
I enjoyed Tourist Trophy even it wasn't all that great of a game. I hope they continue to develop the two-wheeled racing experience though, but maybe not intertwined with the GT series.

Come on Gt5 One of the biggest things in a racing game is customization!
I want to make paint jobs that look amazing and give my car actual wheels!
