Guys, slowly making progress with my own rig build. Its a crazy but quite unique setup.

As a tactile hobbyist, I will soon be looking to delve deep into something that interests me. I am really curious to experience as well as compare the generated immersion and effects from....

1. HF8 Pro (New 2025 Model)
2. Sensit Meta Haptics
3. My own d.i.y approach with multi exciters

Each of these approaches focus on more directed tactile to the users seat/body...

While the Sensit option is quite new, is more expensive than the HF8 Pro and fewer will currently have. It does appear to bring performance advantages and offer potential of multichannel tactile without all the hassle of doing things by d.i.y.

Do we have any forum members here that want to share or chat about effects profiles they use for these quite new products???

Any thoughts?

Just sharing some progress of what Im doing for my rigs isolation.

The build is custom, not following or copying anyone but basing things from past builds and my own ideas.

Ive made a large modification to my build, dismantled it. Which now is for applying L/R split sections for improved stereo and minimising tactile crosstalk. Each side needs its own support/isolation.

Ive upgraded to now having 16x Slip Angle based springs (4x per quadrant) supporting both sides of the rig. Still w.i.p and much to do.

These are bolted to additional industrial rubber blocks. Then a white base/floor section, with secondary, larger rubber blocks beneath.

Yes it is overkill, but this will be a BASS MONSTER of a rig with excessive levels of bass energy. As a build it is much larger/heavier than typical alu-profile cockpits too.
