Hi @Trk-el-son, nice to see you online last night. Our race was shaping up nicely for a close battle in the last two laps until I got 0.5 pen for cutting the chicane.
Well done on the win and for persevering with the G70, I find the lambo much more compliant over the kerbs!

Hi there! Thanks! Yeah, I remember your penalty. (Are you also Shackster on PS?)
But I was in the Atenza, though. At a glance it looks like the standard G70, because I have a black/gold JPS livery.
I am going to do some QT in the G70 today as I am slowly learning that the meta QT car is not always best for me. (In race C the BRZ is TOTALLY not the race car for me.🤣)

Thanks for the tips on the chicane, as I'm almost in the 29.xxx in the 1st section!!!! Bad racing last night. I ended up reporting someone, as I used the chicane to my advantage, people didn't like being overtaken there! Everytime, I passed people there, (cleanly) it must have hurt their ego to much. I set a 41.2 in the gt-r.

I'm still getting use to this track, starting to feel better on it. A lot of people seem to think, they can go fast in, and they're just over driving the course, and running everyone, real wide, and also, Brake checking in the straights, as they get pens!

You can report messages in the in game chat or PSN messages.

It goes to the Sony PSN team. Usually you will get a warning about breaching the code of conduct and that your content was removed (typically it means the messages but can also be things like offensive decals etc)

If it is particualarly bad or persistent messaging and filter avoiding you can get 1-3-7 day and 1 month bans.

That I'm not sure, about the banned anything, I hated to do it! But afterwards, I didn't see him in any of my lobbies

Actually it is a bit funny: You can be the most evil dirty driver ever, and get away with it indefinitely, but using a foul word will get you banned. 😅

You can't "technically" report the driving but the player but its fairly pointless. The volume of complaints across PS4/PS5 top end games with millions of daily players......they aren't going to be too bothered that Billy Bob dive bombed you etc.

Look at some of the Meme drivers who have never been banned....

Ok this is news, i have had the QR2 since I bought my wheel but too afraid to install it, i may have to now. Like adding racing stripes makes a car go faster i guess.

Absolutely, the numbers of reports would be insane.
However, in these days of AI, one could imagine an AI agent set up to go through the reports (actually watch all the videos) and then be like, 10 rock-solid reports - this guy goes out. (But of course, that is not likely to happen.)

We do a lot of complaining about bad driving so thought i'd say Race B was pretty good last night in high B and split A/B rooms. Not perfect but really quite good. Special shout out to one A+ driver, walnut or cashew or something, some sort of nut as a username, he was behind me for 2 laps and CLEARLY had a shed ton of pace on me yet managed to avoid hitting me and finished behind me.

The speed A+ guys are carrying through the esses does my head in, i cannot understand where they get so much grip, it's like they are on the soft tyre. On a related topic, I was quite enjoying DR-B rooms, relentlessly finishing top 5 then the game said naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah no more of this, in with the A/A+ guys Neville, P13 for you.

Thanks buddy, I’ll study it later 🧐 didn’t get much from the first few fastest, so maybe my pace is just my pace!

@NevilleNobody to be fair since I hit DR B my races have been decent too, I think it’s just it’s very hard to nail all the corners together and you can get sunk from a single mistake

I had to laugh earlier, an A driver in a BS lobby, started pole, 2nd place wasn’t catching him and I thought I would but just couldn’t get past him and ended up falling to fourth, but this A driver lost it on the chicane last lap 😬 and second won, nice clean lobby though 😁
