Hey fellas, i know some of you have 2nd accounts for dailys etc, is it worth it, i have another account, but i havent did any of the cafe lessons to get sport mode open, so i figured i would ask the experts in here if its a good idea to do?

I did it and enjoyed it when I wasn’t worrying about the results and qualifying. I gave myself an hour to learn the track and set a time and after I only tried to improve in the pre race countdown. Then my DR started going up and I started taking it too seriously and now it’s higher ranked than my main account 😂. Need a third account. It definitely has it’s benefits but it’s just a reaction to escape ladder anxiety which is a real issue.

I know the sentiment around the game is mostly negative and deservedly so. I've had a mostly positive experience with dailys. Finally decided to hop into the manufactures cup last night and had an absolute blast. I signed with Jaguar. Best finish I could muster was 6th but it was the most fun I've ever had finishing 6th. I forgot to change my oil in between races and while I don't really think it hurt me that much it certainly didn't help. My biggest issue was getting behind someone who wanted to defend instead of working together and it ended up backing us up into the pack. I should've pitted at the end of lap 4 but I stayed out 1 more lap and they ended up catching up to us.

I wouldn't consider myself an expert, but I just did it and had some entertaining and mostly fair races in DR E and D. First starting 5 races without quali time from the back of the grid. Later I put in a qualification time and started 3 races from pole.
Almost no bad behaviour to be observed, some punting, but mostly accidental due to the skill level of the participants, and the later battles for the podium were completely fair and clean.

Sadly I'm already up to DR C now...

Fingers crossed there's actually decent strategy in next weeks race C. I found the no stop method wasn't actually used that much in Suzuka and instead found a mostly varied field doing 1 stops, which was nice to see (and unexpected). I'd like something similar to this week but with a mandatory stop so people are forced to pit at some point.

I also heard whispers race A could have been a tuning race at Laguna, so its interesting to see that Laguna has supposedly shifted completely from A to B. We shall see soon, I suppose!

Jumble the places and races around a bit and it was kind of right I suppose!

race A is regular road cars but its 450pp without tuning how boring.. atleast if we could tune to 450 it would be fun i feel like instead there will be 2-3 cars that are fast and nothing else im sure

it’s not BOP, what do you mean exactly? I don’t fiddle with the gear ratios, so maybe that sort of thing is banned (?)… but I can enter any car I want into that one.

Race B has x7 fuel
Race C has x7 fuel, x12 tyres with RH and RS. RS are mandatory
Race C sounds like it could actually be decent to race. Wasnt a fan of this race last time it was on the daily due it been WRXs from 1-15 and then me in something else.
Glad to see Spa is back. Guess x7 fuel means some fuel saving.

Based on gut feeling, I would start with a good to very good qualification without paying attention to fuel and then change if I could drive some distance to the field at Race C.
But in the end it will be seen what the distance will be with and without stopping and whether a car can drive through without stopping. Let's see....

I hope PD are not starting with fuel saving in Daily B, that would be stupid, because fuel saving is not a strategy
It is a strategy just not a particularly fun one. But I agree it's not needed in Daily B (haven't tried the race so don't know how bad fuel actually is)

I hope it's not needed, but fuel x7 is a lot. Just imagine fuel saving in 5 laps sprint, it would be much worse than dumb...
But let's wait, when someone will actually try this race

I'm surprised you made it to the end with the tires this dead - what DR do you have?
Low A+, maybe 60-65k?

I was the only A+ driver in the lobby and started on pole with an average qualifying time so this is probably not a representation of the way it will go this week.
