If you say so. There are so many tracks in the game that save the worst part for last... Fuji is no exception.

The fastest possible, obviously, but it's often tricky.
your problem is you want to be elite but you rant too much and people who gives you advice you don't give them feedback in return... second thing is, for A+ you need to have wheel, not expensive one but any with ffb.. I'm saying that because I used to be very fast with wheel and swithced to controller on gt7 and my max is A/S, just don't have sam pace on controller vs wheel so I'm not even trying to improve until I get the wheel again (if I get it).. Than another thing, as someone mentioned it'll take lot's of time to adapt to wheel if you never used it so you'll be slower for few weeks.. I'd suggest just enjoy in B rank and race a lot to see alternative lines on different tracks because as I mentioned racing is not time trial unless you're so fast that you can go on pole and just move from rest of the pack every race... But even that doesn't work in higher A to get to A+..

Okay. Thanks. I'll think about getting a wheel someday. Another sore spot for controller users like me is that we can't adjust the sensitivity of our triggers so we can make whatever button we use for braking more or less sensitive, whereas steering wheel users are able to adjust that... Can't believe PD still hasn't given controller users the ability to change trigger sensitivity...

No this is completely wrong! Like 100% in the wrong direction.

If you come into the corner too fast you are going to lose so much time on exit. It’s not “as fast as possible” apex speed is about hitting the right number every time. 51mph into a corner that needs 48mph will lose you 3 tenths on exit.

This is the same for controller or wheel

Thanks. It happens often when I try racing against my ghosts; I try to brake later than the ghost I made, because there's often a psychological feeling I have that if I brake earlier than the ghost, I won't get a faster lap time. It's often hard to figure out just how fast I need to go for a corner.

Watch either Tidgneys lap guide or the fast times on the leaderboard and note down the apex speed in each corner.

You can then check that you’re hitting it. If you’re above it brake earlier and if you’re below it then brake later.

If you continue just to do laps and not any review and assessment then the biggest thing holding back your progress is you and not the controller.

I spelt out a detailed step by step guide for you on how to get faster. I started playing this game 9 months ago and have gone from not being able to keep the car on the track to mid A using exactly what I told you.

In the ghost, your goal isn’t to out brake it. Your goal is to come out of the corner quicker, all your pace is on exit not entry!

If you out brake the ghost and it pulls away on exit then that’s a bad corner. If you brake earlier and fly past it on exit then you’ve nailed the corner

I almost never race my own ghost. I tend to use the fastest ghost on the leaderboard and set it to 0.2- 0.4 ahead and if it gets too far ahead then set it to reset each sector and then try to copy what they do. Watch their replays for gearing for each corner and at what rpm they're changing gear.

As has been said many times these past few days you're unlikely to jump from high DR B to A+ Overnight. It's going to be incremental. Keep practicing and enjoy becoming a bit faster over time.
