The Glen is always a welcome sight for me. Perhaps my favorite T1 in the whole game. So satisfying the launch the car into the corner and ride the limit of the curb there.
I wish there was a no chicane option, would prefer a true S corner even if it meant losing some of the straight to make room for it.

The kerbs are 100% more slippery post update. They tightened up the rear ends of the cars, which upset some people but to me makes more cars useable int he game. To offset this t seems they made the kerbs super, super sketchy.

@brockie what PSN are you on right now, you're not showing on my friend's list.
Hi mate, you should have a friend request from mr online man from my us alt account, if you can accept 😁

So does mr b @Bondwhar on his main and alt 😁

Yes, I saw that yesterday.

Haven't tried it quali yet, but in race it's definitely faster for me! The key is getting the line in the fast sweeping corners right, if you do you can corner much faster (2mph+ faster through turn 2 for me, for example).

Gives you an advantage over those hassling you into a corner, as you can just pull away and leave them behind.

Don't tell anyone else about it though! 🤣

Edit: 0.009 seconds faster in quali

Edit 2: Now taken 0.25 seconds off my QT!
I tried with ASM on and also improved by a couple of tenths. Again, the first lap was fastest and was a tenth up on the next but ran on to the sand 🙄

Still getting beaten by an alien Huracan in the races though! It pulls enough of a lead on the straights that it is safe through the twisty bits

You can also see a real difference between quali and race with the ASM on, cornering speeds are faster with the lighter quailfying fuel load.

I'm seeing the odd Huracan in races, but the races now are almost all Audi dominated.

Will accept now I know it’s you mate, I saw it today and looked to see who else was a chum but your settings are tighter than MI5’s so didn’t fully realise it was you.

There is. Unfortunately not in GT7, but in GP Legends from Papirus (a '97 pc game and imo one of the best sim ever existed, especially modded with GPLea files).

I wonder if there's a market for it, not just GP cars but these old race cars i see in GT7 that are wasted? Have a game with say a dozen categories from say post war to 1970, tracks as per the era.................... it could work.

I'd buy it for sure - love a lot of the old, fast, flowing circuits. Grand Prix Legends was frustratingly hard, but sooooo satisfying to hook up a good lap. I had a force feedback wheel back then - can't remember the make, but it was pretty well made thing - could even bolt on a real racing wheel to it.
