Wow @Barney Da Dog - another week, another incredible time! Nice :) My current claim to fame is to have the #2 fastest time with the Huracan around Interlagos :D

Still 0.3s slower than you, though!

Great time! I still can't get a pole position with mine - did get my first win in a long time though. I may try the Ferrari later , seen a few in the races this morning.

On a separate note, I witnessed an A+/S driver going down to A/B in 3 races. I was quite pleased actually as he's always been a dirty push-to-pass type, and his usual tactics seemed to annoy a lot of people this morning🤣

Not much time to race this week as I am away on a work conference from Tuesday, so will focus on golding the NSX TT tonight. Not crazy about the races this week TBH anyway, rallying in this game feels all kinds of wrong, Daytona road course is a horrible track and for some reason I cannot seem to find my old pace around Interlagos but I am curious to see if it is an AWD fest or if the Ferrari for eg can compete.

The right hander before the banking is the most hateful corner in this game, i simply CANNOT get on the power anywhere near the Ai or my fellow A or high B drivers, i lose several tenths, it is just a nightmare.

You have to be really gradual on it. In VR you can see there is a little bump so either going more slowly on throttle or waiting a fraction longer to accelerate harder is what I do, I don’t think it’s as noticeable in the other cams, remember that being in a higher gear helps at Daytona pretty much every corner especially as the viper “feels/is” are really low revving torque monster vs some of the screaming turbo cars

After last week from A back into B not high hope for this but not a bad start 5 races done and not the carnage expected

The Nissan is faster but just love the WRX got my QT in the .39 think iam just gonna have fun and stay with the Subaru

@Famine Is that a custom livery or did the GR.B Peugeot get an alternate livery like its GR.3 sibling?
Just watching Rory's live stream there during my lunch. Race C looks like a Viper fest and from what I just saw you really need to change tyres...as poor Rory just found out 🤣🙈. Well, maybe mere mortals like me anyway
Vipers and Tire wear, not a particularly ideal couple in my experience

Have to say never really a fan of that GrB race because you always get crashed out. Race B I've tried and not a fan of the hard tyres, plus the GTR is fastest in a straight line but terrible to handle elsewhere. The Alfa is the opposite, but you have to contend with the GTR drivers being sods.

Race C is where I'm at this week. Love driving that Viper on my favourite tyres. Just a shame the Porsche I was racing was also a sod. Driving standards not great today.

Edit: plus I did deck myself on the tyres at turn 1. Ouch.

After a few races of being the bridesmaid and not the bride I won one.

The one thing I will say about Interlagos is that clumsy escalates to carnage and over sensitivity here. I think it’s the technical nature of the track and people really really over drive and attack it rather than just flow. There aren’t any actual 100% braking zones or corners (unless you are really really really sending it)

Edit: race win pic/gloat :)

Some very choppy sloppy intial racing in Daily Race C today, but I did better in my 2nd race where I used the Viper and reached 7th overall. Good battling but Daytona has a kanck to evoke the rammers all over in the race! Too much loose space and grass to spin out and get shafted up the backside lol!

While I've normally grumbled about bits and pieces here I went in for Daily C last night and had 2 great fun races. The first one another driver and I gapped the field and had a great back and forth battle. Lost when I took the turn 1 bump wrong and got a penalty for sliding on to the grass while saving it. 1 poor guy who was in our group did dive bomb me a couple of times on one lap but wasn't shoving me out of the way. It ended badĺy for them when I took the inside limit for turn 1 the next lap and they tried it again . . . and got the invisible wall head on.

Second race I was starting to have a good battle with someone driving the Vette but they gave me a bump draft too close to the chicane for my skill and I ended up with another penalty. Tried to alternate a bump draft with another driver tk catch back up to him but it never panned out.

But 2 very fun clean races with really good battles and racing.
