Other than one race, I have to say that MOST drivers are really trying to behave this week at Sardegna. It's extremely tight and as you enter higher rooms the consistency of most drivers means you can run in really close quarters. All action replay Nev and racing how it should be, I like the fact that QT is so important this week and the racing is so close, waiting for mistakes or tangles ahead until you get forward,
Maybe I’m only saying this because I have a good time and am starting on pole and converting fairly often this week - I might be saying the exact opposite next week in gr3 🤣
As expected, DR-A rooms are tough sledding, I am starting bottom 3 but can sort of hang onto the pack in races. I keep my nose clean and pick way through when i spot small mistakes but don't have the pace to legit run with most guys 1 on 1.
It's an interesting experiment in skill this week, the high grip and low power means one's ability to carry mid corner speed is vital and this is my Achilles heel, I slow down 2 to 3kmh more than other A drivers mid corner and as a result get a slower exit too.
THis is a bit of a nothing race but shows how tight you can run in a pack with consistent drivers and trust their brake points, in saying that you will note I pull up early a lot of the time to avoid hitting the man in front.
