It’s been a bit grotty this arvo tbh, few wins, someone took me out a treat last corner 🤣 a few races like that lol

No luck for me during the actual races though, unfortunately!

Also, I think @newmedia_dev improved on Senna's quote, who obviously meant you should create gaps for others to go past you, rather than create one for yourself.... 🤣 🤣

Sorry m8 😉, lately I'm working far from home, waiting for every Friday nyt to start make some practice. I'm luckily getting to speed easely in traks that I love. Sardegna sure is one of them, so I improved a lil bit more. Target now is to break in the '50s club.

Have had a very good week at Sardegna, no wins but lots of positive results, resulting in my third foray into DR A, the first since January this year (which was deep forest reverse with settings). Needless to say it’s a lot tougher, but have had some decent results. This result wasn’t amazing but I’ve never been more pleased with a fastest lap and clean race given some of what was going on around me!

Today was a good Deep Forest race day, the Z4 came up trumps amongst a bumpy batch of french drivers, one bad egg in the Audi R8 GT LMS that pushed and shoved to gain places, but perservance and the PS5's crappy ability to not save my my damn replays, but the race was very good. Overall 4th place was good to me.

Had some fun in race C the last couple of days - I tried B but it was a bit of a blood bath, and I’m much more familiar with Trial Mountain. Used the 4C initially after trying the Z4 and had a couple of podiums, but switched to the Viper yesterday and having lots of fun. Qualified with a 1:26.7 and had a couple of race wins. Despite being tight in places, this track is so much fun to race on.

For race A qualifying, it seems you need to do the hot lap on your first lap before the track's too wet. Or maybe, if you wait long enough will it dry it? Not that qualifying matters much, as the race is so chaotic in the rain.

The honest answer is….

If you want to progress then P1 or P2-4 is fine, with clean SR you will gain DR

If you want to win races well that’s a different thing.

What you don’t need to do is win races to be better and faster. It’s why people bounce up and down in DR rankings because they focus on the win not the result and subsequent nett gains vs position.

Yeah, you are right!
Now im doing more P5 meta than win the races,,,after this...I'm winning more.
Patience and 200% clean (I'm the kind of guy if I bump and its my faulty , I wait and give back positions.

Yesterday got back to DR A winning by 0.05 seconds and playing like I said above...I'll do a video about this race, many takeways...

also got 1.51.423 in Sardegna...Was a great time also racing against A (Grid on top 5).

Now Im on that hard process, between up on B and down on A, it's the 3rd time I back to A, but I believe I' backing stronger...

No racing for me yesterday due to Saturday being an absolute punt fest, I think the weekend will be for TT’ing going forwards,

Sunday was a punt party too. Made 7 races in which I was always punted out (except the 1st where I messed by my self). I'm therefore back to DR B, as usual.🤣
This week btw I might be able to start before, cause Friday I'll be off duties. TM will be my playground, let's see how long it takes to climb back to DR A.

I made a point of dedicating a solid hour last night on Race A (GR Yaris), on a rare Sunday evening off, so between 10-11pm i rounded off my week with 3 solid races.

I've decided there's a subset of the GT7 player base to whom these road car combos are absolute pure racing. It may have been a handful to drive (I don't agree, incidentally) but my word, you can certainly squeeze a load of extra pace from the little box when you fine-tune your technique. Not to mention some of the maneuvers you need to learn in order to survive out there with other drivers.

I had those three races, looked back at my week's combined efforts and smiled. They got better and better, some featuring barely-believable events. I saved my two wins until then very end, fittingly.
