I just want to be very very clear im
Not moaning about bad results, I’m moaning about driver behavior masked as ignorance or overly “optimistic” these are very very very clear nuances.

So it’s not the results that are my issue it’s the standard of the racing that is the main point. Yes it’s great to have fun but when it starts getting in to the place where people are racing for the whole point of racing it’s a bit meh because you are having fun and I’d like to win, which I rarely do. My fun is in the competitive close competition not the accidentally rammed you wide side of the coin because “fun”

And then I have a messaging arguement with a person who said “it’s my fault, I was trying to get the slip stream and (this bit gets me) you shouldn’t have been there)

Just sigh, accountability is part of the skill curve not reductive but additive. Wanting to be faster and better should be the goal, just participating and not doing those things works in certain lobbies but….

Accountability is a skill curve in life in general, and not many people bother to 'git gud' in that respect. Hardly surprising it carries over to video games.

But that’s not an excuse not to question it.

It’s not about getting good it’s pretending you’re good and calling it fun but with no effort. That’s the problem. Those that want to have fun is fine, those that want to actually race get the raw end of the stick in these “fun lobbies”
