Sorry if this has been posted already, but what’s the delta between changing and not changing tires in C? A second or two I assume?

I’ve been changing them on the Cayman and pretty sure it’s been the difference between a podium and 4th (can’t save replays for some reason so can’t see what the other drivers are doing).
It’s matched if you are running the same as the group you are racing with.

Ignore the deltas and watch how the racing in front is going. If they are fighting and using rubber change tires, if your 3 seconds ahead of the person behind, don’t change.

The delta doesn’t matter it’s more about where in the race you want to fight or preserve

Did some Barcelona races this morning and yesterday, but it didn't go well. I almost never raced it, because I didn't like the flow. So I'm still learning the track a little bit. But boy what a mess in most lobbies. I did all my races in the Alfa 4C because I like that car. Don't know how slower it is but I don't care. I had 1 race in a full C / S lobby that went very respectful. People bumpdrafting me on the straight directly after the rolling start, instead of fighting for positions in the corner.

Most other lobbies this wasn't the case. In many lobbies I also had some DR B / SR B or even C drivers. I try to avoid them but somehow I just am the idiot that always ends up in the gravel. Up until now I never changed tires, but always went into the pits at the end of lap 1 just to avoid the chaos, but sadly a big part of that chaos already happened by then, and I'm already 15-25 seconds behind the leader running plum last.

In the last race I even rage (or maybe more... disappoint) quit because I was trying to make the best of it from P16, drove up to P15 and was clearly 1~2 seconds per lap quicker. I overtook him cleanly twice, but both times he pushed me off track afterwards pfff. So sad that this happens so often. Otherwise this game would be an absolute blast.

Ended my playing session of 500+kms in Race B. My last 2 races depict the true nature of those racers that race with ego, not skill. This was B-A group of drivers.

In the second last race I played, I raced with 4C Gr.3 car starting 2nd. On the first lap the lead driver made a mistake by running a little wide heading into the tight right hander just before sector one's tunnel. I was able to overtake him on account of this on the inside. He tried blocking me & we hit a little. He then tried to again hit me hard to spin me off but by then his car had ghosted & he spun off 180 whilst I won that race. This was the same driver also who was winning the 2 or 3 races prior to this race. Seems like he was too used to winning & not finishing 2nd behind anyone.

In the last race, I was in the Viper on pole. I was leading all the way to the last lap & the user in second place was also in Viper. He all the time was with a second of me as he was getting the slipstream too. On the last lap, he got a good slipstream off me & divebombed into turn 1. I gave him space because it was fair. I was able to keep up with him throughout the first two sectors as I always am comfortable chasing than leading. In chasing, I get a direct marker of braking & turning lines ahead of me so it makes it easy to follow. So I got a good exit in the downhill section after the tunnel in sector 2 & I was able to divebomb him into the turn just before the backstraight. I think he panicked or wasn't expecting my that move so he ran wide without me touching him & then he tried turning into me vigorously to hit into me so as to screw my race but he luckily ghosted by then. He as the user mentioned above both finished around 6th to 10th.

Whenever I was leading the race, I was ok with the fact if anyone catches me & overtakes me as long as it's clean. I've got no issues in coming 2nd or 3rd as long as it's fair. I'm just average at best so I try my best to enjoy the race as it comes. If I'm in last place even due to a spin or unavoidable collision, I still finish the 6 laps instead of some who immediately quit the race. If You love racing online how does it justify to quit just because You're at the back & can't get a good result that race? Isn't this ego & not passion?

Had a good set of Daily Race B's at the Forest and the first race I got punted and ended up 10th place, but that was a practice race right lol. My second race got me 3rd place on the podium beating out some pretty quick Porsches in this Lobby!

Had a try with the 4C this lunch, started 5th and finished 2nd, had a titanic battle with this Z4 all race and just had him last lap, totally clean.

I must have dropped a couple of points to start 5th and I was in the clan of 1.27 starters and there wasn’t any 1.26 starters, but the 4C was a decent drive, there’s hope for the weekend
