What an absolute calamity race B is. I am in DRB lobbies but I am not at full S safety rating so being matched with absolute idiots from front to back. I led 4 races last night, won just one and in the other three was relentlessly punted off with seemingly no penalties at all for side contact. Other two races I was top 3 and punted. No one is even attempting to race, just bomb on at the apex, use the outside car as a brake...every....damn......corner.

Its an absolute %^*&#??@ joke tbh, PD needs to pull their heads out of their rear ends, total and utter $hit show.

Get yourself on trial mountain mate,

I actually think this one gets better at the weekend because there should be a few more people on it so more people on your level, at BS and AS there is some decent clean racing to be had
 
Just wondering, has anyone here ever experienced a day where no ps plus subscription was required, and all online modes (Lobby, daily races) were available? That has happened to me once.

Also, has there every been ps plus offer (price reduction) or for free? As I currently don't have ps plus, and thinking when to get it.

You can share the PS Plus subscription of any account on the same console that has one, and there's a couple of Free Play Weekends each year.
 
...ever been chasing time on a track wondering how on earth everyone else is so much faster than you only to find out you're on the wrong compound??? Yeah, wasted some time last night on that, lol. Let me just say that, for me, getting the RM's deep into the 56's is a very frustrating experience. On the RS's? Not so much...

Starting to like Yabba Dabbaliscious and the 992 is my new favorite thing. My second favorite thing seems to have gotten a bump recently, too. Was not expecting to see the F-Type on the leaderboards at Yas.👍

@NevilleNobody good luck with that, I can’t bring myself to race there again and if I get bored this weekend I’ll try Ace Combat 7 which is free 😁

Tomorrow we will at least find out next weeks races via race online Hungary and here’s hoping for a peach of a track to race the new 911 at, Spa on mediums would be a cracking week.

But until then, Trial mountain it will be,
 
I tell you what! This game is much easier when you get a slower lobby for a P1 quali and P2 and P3 take each other out on the first lap 😂😂😂

Made it a bit dull but I’ll take it!

Missing having a daily race B that I can just jump into for a bit of fun, Fuji and Interlagos have been horrific for me 🤦‍♂️

@bone_tone hurry up and drop into C otherwise I’ll be meeting you in B after the next race 😂

I’ve been in a few DR b lobbies now I’m back at the top of C but they’re throwing in these lunatics with SR C and B ratings. It’s been absolute chaos starting mid pack, I’ve seen less contact in a rugby match 🤦‍♂️

Had a little bit of time this evening so I improved my QT a bit

And did 2 races, the first I started P2 and finished P4 all good I just got the esses wrong at the start so you have avoid the peeps behind who can’t see you. All good, everyone was whole and I only lost 2 places.

Second race just now flag to flag, was accidentally hit by one of the German drivers who I know and he let me back through on the straight.

And that’s all she wrote.

Crossovers always, always, always suck. It's swimming in a sea of desparation...desparate to not drop a level and/or desparate to not go back. Every race feels like a knife fight and it makes me appreciate being able to stay at a midpoint, lol.

Good luck and stay positive, it's the only way through it! I'd say it gets better but you'd know I was lying anyway.🤣

I did let go a low ish 2.06 the other day so there’s some time still left to find I feel!

I dunno about anyone else but I always qualify on the slowest tire. I know that often puts me further down the order than the best tire would but also if I know exactly what kind of time I can push for on the bad tire and that time is even close to the good tire times then I know I'll be great on the good tires and I won't have to show the rest of the lobby the kind of speed I can actually get to :D

It’s there, just time the exits, honestly. Slower throttle better line and don’t over brake. I know Dans ghost is sideways most corners but your don’t need those angles to get solid times, he’s also exceptionally good at momentum management but that’s not we need to go fast!

There's several folks on my list that do the same. I'll do a bunch of quali laps on both (even if inadvertently 😁) so I know what to expect on either, but typically go for the faster tire/time hoping to land in the first couple rows. Not happenin' this week at Yas, lol, just don't know the place yet.:cheers:

No. PlayStation announces them pretty soon before they happen.

In previous years they've been mid-February, sometime in late June/early July, and early December. There have been other occasions too, but those seem to be the "regular" ones.
 
Much better night yo end the week at Fuji, managed to scamper away from pole a few times and secure wins, also got my SR to full bar S so was in cleaner rooms. Was promptly plopped into top splits as the token B driver, started 15th hahaahha.

I have decent pace, particularly the final sector and especially the second last turn, I accidently hit a few guys there as I am braking so much later than most and still getting on the power really quickly, I just wat guys through that awkward uphill left.

Top of C sucks as well 😂

For some reason they stick low B’s with C and D SR into the high C S lobbies which sucks as they’re a bit quicker but absolute lunatics.

Had this Italian lad in 3 of my races and he’s like the terminator, every race he’s had a 5 second penalty before the start of lap 3 for smashing someone off the track! He’s absolutely wild! was so intent on avoiding him I missed the smooth overtake from another B C driver who went on the outside (off the track) to then zoom back in and wipe me out to take the podium spot, was deffo a unique move 😂
 
Done 10 race As today, in the really wide lobbies it was 18s between me and p2 so won 7 of them, the last three have had more A and an A+ driver so even starting pole I brought home 2, 3 and fourth (I caught the wall) such an enjoyable race I find.

Will do Fuji tomorrow but being Gr4 it’s a margins game not being the fastest on that one.

It’s race Hungary Online that mine them, I’ll post the proper screenshots, but the weird one is Tskuba as it has 6x tires and is C with no bop.

Not looking at my leaderboard, it’s mostly GT Citroens and Attenzas but in race spec maybe the Hyundai is good? I doubt it though because it’s FWD and torquey like the Mazda 3 but not benefiting with being op day one.

Give it a go bud, I just don’t think in my lobbies it would work for me

I might thrash some G70 around there if I get bored this weekend but trial mountain is still keeping me invested, had some fun races there tonight and as I thought, more players of equal level is giving some good racing.

That TT at RBR is horrendous lol

Honestly I don’t think the G70
Is the car but maybe?

A is a great race as its skills practice, brake and throttle with some momentum (weight) management thrown in (literally 🤣)

Fuji I think is to tight this week unless you are far ahead of your peers, everything is close and forced it’s tight racing but not learning racing.

Stick with A ;)
