I agree with you.Honestly wish they'd ban people's accounts for this dumbass switching regions stupidity.
They region lock the game for a reason, to limit massive amounts of latency being introduced into the game, creating an unfair environment.
These clown YouTubers love switching regions & not giving a **** what it does to local players experience.
PD have banned people before for cheating in time trials, or using exploits in tournaments, why are they not banning mult-account region switchers, especially when they are dumb enough to show themselves on YouTube doing it.
Half of them do it in the tournaments as well, which is explicitly forbidden in the terms of said tournaments, yet theres no report option for it because the only thing you can report are "means words"
After two weeks in a row, where I set the table for racing with a solid QT, without the possibility to actually race due to family business, I really hope to finally get it this week at St. Croix to train more on tire management. Not being able to race at Glen in the NSX was almost painful, btw. I had the "'54 club" in me, I recon, but it is what it is. I was really busy at work, so I couldn't follow to much the discussion either.
@Stringerbell Good job with Digit, really. "This is the way" (cit.)
Regarding Sammy's video; it's strange, cause he's very humble when in top split lobbies, but a lil "bullying" when in lower rate ones. I mean, some lunges he did uphill in the video (with few push to pass also) where simply "too much" and I'm sure he wouldn't have tried those against a top split driver (not enough overlap imho).
Hope to see you in St. Croix in the weekend.
Enjoy your racing week, everyone.
I like the look of your friends list 😎 I don't even show up on mine - went and followed too many aliens 😭I see you’re getting back to your old self time wise mate 😁 last week the Glen was super tight all week, for me starting and ending at the back of the grid in DR A meant slowing sliding back to B where I was surprised how poor the standards were but fighting mid to front instead of back was more appealing 😁 I guess everyone had had enough of the week by Friday!
Time difference between my alt account LJB and mine first account was a tenth, but 4 guys in between!
Yours, Glen and Barney times are always the standard
Hahhaha just realised this exact situation happened to me this week. Go to 9.10 of the video, this is a recovery drive after spinning lap 1, so I have pace on this fella. He makes a meal of the Cutting but I check up instead of taking the gap because I know he will likely panic and come down on me, causing contact. It was 2 corners before he predictably ran wide again. He's also not being patient enough. If you're A+ in a C room you need to expect that the C drivers are using all their mental capacity just navigating the cutting, it is an extremely difficult corner that eats time if you mess it up. He sorta kinda sorta had his nose in a gap but just barely, twice, and there was contact because the C driver drifted wide (very common at the Cutting) and then tried to find his line only to find a Viper front lip in the way. At A+ you need to be expecting this, tuck in behind, stay tight and wait for the C drivers to run very wide or just blast past on the two big straights given the grunt the Dodge has and the A+ skill set still allowing for fast exits..
Was that the round where they turned off DR & SR? If they were expecting bad things with the Nations playerbase, who I've found to be a bit cleaner & calmer, they are probably scared of carnage if they let us Daily hooligans have a go in anything that fast.Im really disappointed with the car selection for race C.
This layout of St Croix is my favourite fictional track in the entire game and to me it seems clearly aimed to high downforce cars so I was hoping for some formula racing like the one we had in the recent Nations with the F3500-A.
It could also have been LMPs or Gr.2 cars but GR4? seriously PD?
Is like watching a snail race
We dont see this amazing track very often and when they throw it for daylies they do it with the worst possible cars for this track. What a shame.
What is the thing with PD and the almost non use of high downforce cars for daylies?
Maybe they are afraid on low participation of the controller users?
At least 50HP if not more.Group 4 is in dire need of another 50HP.

Honestly they need to separate TC and GT4 from each other. Hyundai? That's a TC car. BMW M4? GT4At least 50HP if not more.
But we have already been there and they nerfed the entire group just to make it "friendly and accessible" to everybody
Yeah, they did that in that round.
Really nonsensical being the race part of an official season. It was the best combo of the season Imo.
If they do anything moderately interesting, the C DR crowd starts throwing a fit that the cars are "too hard" to drive, as if the entire point of GT isn't to drive a wide variety of cars with different handling characteristics. It's the same reason Gr.3 and Gr.4 have been BoP'ed beyond recognition, to the point that they resemble more of a grey mold.Im really disappointed with the car selection for race C.

Thanks m8 🙏. Yep, getting my "mojo" back even though I'm not yet in synch with the brake pedal as I was with the old G923. The Trustmaster's one is a lil too soft, but I'm slowly getting used to it and at least it doesn't "blip/glitch" out of corners or in straights and stays at 0% if not touched. Still, I think I need to find a stiffer spring in future. Btw, I've seen that you too are becoming faster and faster. I'm looking for the day when we'll have an almost entire "GTPlanet's lobby", seeing how everyone is always getting better.I see you’re getting back to your old self time wise mate 😁 last week the Glen was super tight all week, for me starting and ending at the back of the grid in DR A meant slowing sliding back to B where I was surprised how poor the standards were but fighting mid to front instead of back was more appealing 😁 I guess everyone had had enough of the week by Friday!

Audit TT? TC
Mazda 3? TC
Renault 11? TC
Vette, Viper, GTR, SLS, Hurican, RC F, those are all GT4 cars.
If you separate out the classes correctly TC stays where it is and GT4 gets a 50-100 HP bump to firmly separate them from the TC class and bring them to more of a midpoint between TC and GT3.
Not to mention then you don't have to BOP FF with FR with 4WD. Generally speaking there are zero FF GT4 cars globally. They're all TC class or lower.
Oh for sure! I would rather see Group C separated out (and add the missing Minolta Toyota), separate out Vision Gr.1 from IRL Gr.1.Well said. You could make the same case for Gr.1 which combines modern P1 cars with old Group C cars, an even worse mismatch than TC and Gr. 4. There’s lots of other anomalies - like the 911 RSR, a factory GTE car, in Gr3. with GT3s (the Corvette C7R was also a GTE, or GTLM in IMSA-speak). And we still don’t have a full grid of modern GT3s!
The real driving simulator!
Because the power is so similar in GR4 the gearing and top speed matter more than mid corner speed and the Supra has always had good mid range torque and when the track is lots of straights the handling becomes less of a factor. How'd the Supra become so OP in RWD Group 4, a while back we had a similar race at Kyoto and it was close between 3 or 4 cars (Jag, M4, Aston, Supra)
I know /facepalm I was talking to someone half distracted and conflated what I was posting with I was saying to them.Group 4 is St Croix not Monza chief![]()
