Next week Dailies (courteousy - Gtsh-Rank.com / Race Online Hungary on X):

I'm not much one to watch streamers, but I'm making an exception tomorrow for this, I suspect it will be entertaining one way or the other.

You know how Deep Forest Reverse has that one barrier before the last corner that's clearly not designed for the reverse layout and stops you dead if you hit it? That's like half of Nurburgring Reverse.

Lovely week for you mate! Glad you found a race B that ticks your boxes!!?

Are you firmly cemented in A now with those good results?

C has been a lot of fun hasnt it and I’ve experienced very little dirty driving, most issues have just been driver error! I do like it when race C is class but it is nice to have the option to jump into a few quick race B’s so looking forward to next week!

However on next week at dragon trail - Jesus Christ! Decided to spend an hour in the circuit experience so I wasn’t going on completely blind as never raced it before!!! I really hope the car and tyres are much more stable than the Jag on RH in the circuit experience, spent ages trying to get gold on the lap attack and I reckon I competed 1 out of 20 laps and that’s probably being kind to myself 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Was hoping to build some confidence but now I’m just terrified 😂😂😂

Not really mate, my DR is 31789 so I’m fighting for scraps and hoping an A+ driver or two had a stinker so I can increase a few here and there, let see what this week brings, I hope it’s not a GT by Citroen show, wall of death will be interesting with that one

Still good to be in there mate, I had 3 attempts at sneaking into B and then got comfortable with a track/car combo and flew into the mid B that week, hopefully same for you this week!!!!!!!!

Just watching the streamers.

'95 911 at Alsace
Gr 4 at Dragon Trail Seaside
Gr 3 at Nurburg End Reverse

Looks like some short sharp fun at race B for me this week with 5 laps, looks like it will be fun racing, the first chicane could well be chaos on lap 1 though

I like that they are now keeping DR & SR enabled for the road car race As. A small but welcome change.

Undoubtedly a positive move, but one must be careful to spread their DR around! I found myself totally outmatched in the dozen or so St Croix races I decided to do over the weekend. I've been "accumulating" ranking over the last few weeks at Race A and it seems I've forgotten how to drive race cars.

On the one hand, I felt slightly relieved watching my DR going down after each race, but on the other, totally humiliated by having to poot around on my own for 15 minutes.

After that Golf GTI race at Tokyo I went up to 38k DR which is the highest I’ve ever been, man that was a culture shock at the Glen against A rated drivers, my absolute best time I could do, started me plum last, every race 🤣

Race A this week is great. So far. Generally hate these fake tracks like Alsace (Maggiore, Gardens, etc) with a passion, but they do bring something fresh to these race A roadcar races, as was the case with the NSX at GV last week, pretty fun if you're lucky enough to avoid the punters. Couple of early wins in the bag.

Tried Race B a couple of times too but found myself in 90% DR A lobbies for some reason. No fun in Gr4 cars as nobody made mistakes on a wide and well-used track like Seaside, not even at CoD, which meant a lonely trundle around at the back with one or two other DR Bs unlucky enough to find themselves 'promoted' too. Gr 4 cars are way too slow and planted for a fast wide track like this. Will stick with A and pray that it stays clean-ish.

Congrats to PD for the most brutal combo on Daily C ever.

Nordschleife Reverse in Gr. 3 Cars is just insane.
Woooooooooooooooow...learning curve on this one is gonna suck. I will know exactly where I am but will still be clueless as to what's next.🤣🤣🤣

I think there is some good racing to be had at dragon trail, tried the Atenza and didn’t feel too good, heavy and painfully slow from the viper last week, second race I thought I’d try the Ferrari, that was quite fun I have to say.

Apart from last lap, I started p14, got up to 9th before this G70 hit the wall and I planted right into him, got a 2sec penalty and finished 13th 🤨

I really enjoy Dragon Trail especially the COD! 💀 Been relatively good driving so far with only a few 🤡 out and about. 😇

As expected in Race A & B, it's crashfest or bumpercars here or there. Don't know what happens to players in short races such as this. As if all want to finish first through hook or crook. I lost 2000 points in DR just because of dirty driving. I was tempted to try the longer Race C but it's a nightmare of sorts as trying to learn a long track in reverse that even while racing is so impossible.

After a few weeks of good daily races such as Laguna Seca, St. Croix etc, feeling a little sad this week. I love DT but seeing the quality of action, I'm skeptical to drive in Race B as often as I'd want.

Sounds bad. These races (A and B at least) need a shake up to make them real 'dailies'; keep the same tracks for the week but switch to a new car every day to spice things up, 911 day 1, GTR day 2, Veyron day 3, etc. Would prevent the entitled 'Pole Queens' sitting on a race all week and give those of us with less time for gaming a chance. I find 90% of the trouble in my A or B races doesn't come from the absolute braindead crashers at the back, but from good drivers who've gotten used to winning getting rattled and losing it when they've messed up or you've gotten ahead by better driving, it's especially noticeable by the weekend, the guy(s) at the front who've been doing the race all day every day since Monday really don't like it if they lose a race or two. Changing the cars each day would shake the box a bit.

Here's this weeks guide! I haven't done a lap guide for C as it would take me like 3 hours to get upto some sort of speed. I will be doing some pointers for the other guide I do though for Nurburgring in reverse. Certinaly quite a week this week!

Great stuff. Usually avoid Gr3 and above like the plague, but that reverse Nords looks a right larf if done in the right mindset. Wasn't planning to touch it but will give it a go later on the basis of this video.

Sadly, last weekend I could take the wheel only Saturday. It was an on/off disrupted session cause I had to help my neighbour with his BMW I2 not willing to start... Have I already said how I hate electric vehicles?🤣 I nonetheless found some rythm at St. Croix. A '20.7 (ideal '20.2) was the result, but I felt that the " '19's club" was on sight. The Supra wasn't that bad either, a nice surprise btw. Still, now that I'm almost 100% healed from tendonitis (only the left arm still hurts sometimes, but it's ok), it seems that the universe doesn't want me to race.🤣
Luckily, I'll be off for one week near Easter. I'm planning a sort of "lobotomic" full immersion to really push the envelope during that time (ealry morning, afternoon and evening). Please PD, give us a 16-18 laps Race C at Willow in Gr3 machinery for week 14.
TD Seaside is my choice for the weekend (if universe allows it 😉).
Enjoy your racing week, everyone.

Had several weeks of buggy behaviour in game - getting kicked out of lobbies, game freezing when I try and save a replay, the replay saves but the thumbnail is black and if you try to fast forward the replay it stops, unable to load ghosts, my cars with liveries appear in the game with the default factory livery.

When I get booted out of a race just before it starts, the game says this is what I have to do (see the attached picture). Has anyone else had this message and tried one or more of these fixes? Seems drastic to delete the game!

Ps not sure if all of the above glitches stem from the same issue.

I'm currently running from the back at Alsace and it's the usual script of the Top 2/3 getting away and shooting off into the distance whilst the rest are scrapping for whatever we can get. I don't think 3 laps is long enough... Even when I'm making my foxiest moves to dodge trouble, there's not enough tarmac left to catch-up. I've seen one A+ do it, but a slice of luck is definitely required.

I will probably run with a quali time from tomorrow unless all the fast guys have given up by then.

I'm totally on board with this. I wouldn't say change race every day, because if you get in enough practice you can certainly step up your game as the week goes on... Maybe switch up the circuit or the car (or, maybe an adjusted BoP?) once or twice DURING the week.

All in all, a shake-up of Sport Mode is almost inevitable for the next game, let's hope they've been listening.

Started the week with a pole to to finish win with a nice gap of over a second from lap 2 so no pressure at all!

Thought I’ll just do that 12/13 more times this week and I’ll be up in A! Load up the next race!!! 12th 😂😂😂😂

Wow that time for race B is monster!

And flat out for the CoD!

Bravo.

I’ve managed to get through there flat out twice so far but I’ve completely ruined some purple laps coming in and trying it! I think my success rate is deffo less than 5%!!!! Won’t stop me trying tho 😂😂

Dude you got some time on the board already! I saw your time and was like 😳

😁 you’re right, flat out perfectly doable a small percentage of the time, let’s see if I can do it in race sweats 😂

Be a good fast week I reckon, hopefully lots of us has a good go at this, this week

You posting this cost me an an extra half hour in bed as I was literally turning everything off as I checked this but the tiny margin spurred me on to have another 6/7 laps and god I’m glad I did!!!!

First time I’ve ever broken into the top 1,000 on the leader board!!! Obvs only Monday so it’s not going to last but I am absolutely over the moon 😬😬😂😂

I also know by the time I wake up tomorrow you will have gone back in front but I’ll bask in my glory for a bit now 😬😬

Look forward to hear how you get on racing tonight!!!

This is also posted in the Bug Reports thread...
I've experienced this during the current Daily Race C (reversed Nordschleife).
After I pitted at end of lap 2 and had changed tyres to RMs shortly after exiting (around 1:03 in video) I get an engine damage indication flashing and stays flashing for over 4 minutes after I got punted into a barrier and when that damage cleared so did the engine damage.
I did not hit anything coming out of pit road or after and it just appeared and reduced my overall speed so much I was punted twice by others because I was slow.
Watch for yourself...
