@Jordan did you fire Chaz and Famine? Famine hasn't written a Daily Race article and Chaz hasn't done a Daily Race video for the past two weeks! :lol:

Oh, I've fired @Famine dozens of times already (usually after spending time with him in-person at GT events). He's hard to get rid of, though, and will still be contributing articles when he can. You've hopefully not seen the last of @ChazDraycott on our channel, but his own real-world schedule this year means there won't be regular content from him, either.
 
Had a banger of a Daily C tonight. Me and the guy in 1st were nose to tail for 11 laps. He made a mistake on 12 and I pounced. I made a mistake on 13 and he answered.
Lap 15 he makes another mistake coming out of the 2nd right before the back straight and I got him into the 10/10A complex.

Also got my QT down to 1:18:653 in the 2022 911. Great car here, super planted. I cannot drive the Ferrari this quickly it's too squirrely for me.

Minion power in full effect, looks like we have similar pace this week and are going to have a nice little tussle on quali and hopefully in a few races as well!!!

Gents - would anyone be interested in having a league/community race season between us all? Feel like it could be fun to have some nice clean competition between us?

Saw this posted on reddit and we could tailor/tweak it to suit how we all want to go ahead with it?

  • Qualifying: 10 Minutes
  • Sprint (race 1) - 15 Minutes
  • Feature (race 2) - 40 minutes
  • There is no requirement to pit on the sprint race, but in the feature you are required to pit at least once and must use 2 different compounds.
  • Fuel settings: 3x
  • tyre wear: 4x For the Sprint, 6x For the feature
  • BOP ON
  • Tyres: Racing tyres only
  • Setups default
  • One Special event a season 1 hour long race, no sprint

I'm +4 hours in winter and +3 hours in summer so maybe a Sunday slot would work? 4/5pm Uk time? But I'm also open to staying up a bit later in the week to accommodate a 7pm Uk time start?

This is where it could be a struggle 😁 I’d only be able to commit between 2-4pm UK weekends due to kids work etc,

Just entered my first race A. Was in a lobby with A and A+ players! What's all that about? Low player count?

Anyway; had a clean race and finished 8th. Need to sort my qually time out before I jump into the deep end again!

Yeah the unpopular races will have a huge swing if players. By end of the week you might see A to C in the same lobby!!!

Did you see post about a league? Fancy it!


Finally see a little upwards blue arrow at Atlanta 😂😂😂 taken a while!!! Can’t face doing back to back race C’s! It’s draining!!!

I’ve not looked at my DR but I reckon I’m just under half way in B now

Top racer you! 😂 nice mate, It’s a nice race I have to say, gets a little hairy if you brake slightly too late but so far top racing!

@Stringerbell yes my worry too for the weekend, doing back to back C’s won’t be possible so trying to get into Sardegna

@Lightsider74 struggling like hell to improve on the 30.4xx at Sardegna so need to do a good study session later on

I’m going to split my time between B and C, B is a nice little spring round, I quite like the track and it is very unstressful after the pace power and stress of Gr3. Although I am starting to get to grips with the Gr3 now, down to 1.18.214 and had an optimal in the 17’s so that’s the target

That’s a sharp time! If Road Atlanta was at B I’d be rinsing the hell out of it this week, such a fast flowing circuit, Porsche handles so
Well around there. The good thing is getting lots of DR at B/S finishing top 5😁

Sardegna Porsche on the other hand is quite a handful!

Wishing the week away already, I need something different for B

Yeah that's what I've been finding too. The racing has been great too. Most people are driving really clean and punters are extremely rare. There's been some aggressive passing attempts but smart car positioning can shut those down before they launch them :D

Yup, too many drivers trying to pass early on at the top of the hill (t2) and down into the esses!

It's definitely fun but draining, I'm enjoying the quali more than the races.

You finishing well in the races? I've not quite got a consistent race pace yet

Looks like we should end up with Gr3 in race B next week so fingers crossed for a fun track

I'm just beginning to learn where to put the car for this, seems like the races have cleaned up the more people have got to grips with the track, but lap 1 if you're mid pack is still a lottery

Such terrible places to pass and doesn't work for either person and the chances of both going off or just losing so much time together makes it such a bad choice.

Did you have any previous with him or was he just being a baby because he messed up and hit the wall and couldn't take you passing him? Really annoys me seeing things like that!

On a plus note, you took that left handed onto the the long straight so smoothly, I can't get that right at all, you flowed through there like a pro!!!!!
