Louth through and get it done mate, the CE is a Gr3 Porsche so it’s deffo beneficial if it’s going to be a Gr3!!

You’re waaaay ahead of me on DR now, I dropped from 29k to 15k in race C, doing some damage control in race B now, back at 21k. So going to do 1 or 2 more races and call it a night.

Who knew drinking and drinking would be bad 🤷‍♂️ they should do a campaign about that 😂

Lovely little spike though mate, what’s the highest you’ve been?
Keep pushing and get back to 30K plus as you are clearly good enough to do so 😇

Unlocked Spa. Completed CE all sectors Gold (straight forward enough) only had time for 1 lap at the full circuit and managed silver; around 2 secs off the pace. Some of those turns could be treacherous in online MP.

Will give it a go Tomorrow afternoon 🙂

I’m very proud to hereby announce, that I have finally made it into A+!!
Probably one of the toughest challenges I’ve ever done. I’ve been bouncing between 47-49k all week, racing absolute monsters in brutal Daily C, but it was all worth it in the end.
I’m definitely not a true A+ driver and I fully expect to drop back down to A, but I definitely grew a lot this week.

417 races is incredible progress, so not your first rodeo?

Lucky for me, race C isn’t at Spa, otherwise I’d go straight back to B haha. But thanks a lot man.

Definitely not, but I spent most od them at B and been on and off. Not sure how long this one sticks seeing how intense the races at this level are, and the time commitment it takes to get up to pace.

That is a truly remarkable achievement, well done 👏🏻

Hopefully I've got some time to try out Trial Mountain this week. Road Atlanta worked out nicely for me last week, despite the sweatiness of close racing in sector 1.

Is there any strategy due to tire degradation in race C, or is the multiplier too low?

I had a great last race there yesterday - first lap I was in 12th place, got rammed hard straight across the grass at the start of the downhill esses, got back onto the track at the bottom of the hill in 4th place!

Made up two more places during the rest of the race, finished P2.

8x tyre for race C. Probably makes it even more of a Citroen race, though the little Alfa is friendly to the tyres as well.

A good few 911s in the online streams this morning - looks to be competitive in race 👍
Yeah I've been watching a streamer and he started in the 911 but has moved to the R8 and picked up more time.

From what he was saying the 911 has a bit more stability but you have to shift during the corners whereas the R8 has higher gearing and you can rev it out in 2nd through the corners and they're just hammering it all the way down the first big straight and the final straight, round the corner and all the way to the chicane

Well this might be the week to try something different, had a lot of Porsche in the last few weeks anyhow 😁

Very productive DR day today, you’ll see what I mean about let the lobby do the work, both races I get roughed up in the first two hard braking areas, then come back to great finishes, see the last corner both races where I took 2 places 🤣

Nice to see you out there @benjoi84

Great finish there for you on that first video!

I was currently having a tete-a-tete (which spanned across a handful of races) with a German driver up ahead of you, which resulted in them giving away a 2 second penalty which I'm happy to see you benefitted from

It was a dull story so I won't bore you with the details.

How do I keep missing Glen @newmedia_dev in these Race A's? I still haven't raced him.

Sometimes it just works out nicely! I was practicing my absolute weak spot last week: trail braking. Braking very shortly for 90-100 % in T1, and quickly trailing off while steering into the corner. I still think releasing the PS5 trigger slowly with my left hand, while also tilting the controller with both hands to steer is somatically beyond me, but at least I never even once ended up on the grass on the outside (because time and again I released the brake trigger too carefully and over slowed the car).

🤣

To be fair I haven’t raced a lot this month compared to my normal amouts

And a strong week from you too mate, you were really up there in the thick of things, I was just happy with a dr increase finish and I think I landed 3 or 4 wins in total,
