Only had 10 minutes to do some QT but I like Daily A. It’s slow, like me these days.

Nice to see you out there and you have some pace so you starting with a chance,

Luckily I’m getting dr increase finishes so I’m happy till a decent lap time drops

Great to see you too. I'm going to persevere - for now at least.

Should be able to enter back to back races after work this afternoon; yesterday most of my play time was practice.
 
Can someone help me understand how I got a negative SR on this please?

From turn 1 I was 1 second ahead on P4 and this just grew each lap so didn’t even see them.

P2 was half a second ahead half way through lap 1 and then a full second by the end.

So I didn’t touch anyone as no one was around me and I got no penalties? Is there something else you can get penalized for?

@Lightsider74 could you share your lap with me, I’m finding it hard to copy the guys 3 seconds ahead but might be easier for me to pick someone up from yours if it’s 1 second ahead?

Two weeks I lost SR for doing absolutely nothing for 2 straight days, I even went down to A, then it came back to normal

I really hope the next Gran Turismo brings at least one daily race with a qualy for every race like many PC Sims.

The only hope is lmu being super successful on console, I wouldn't be surprised if sport mode in gt8 is a copy paste of what we have right now

I’m contemplating swapping the Porsche for the R8 as they seem so much faster in race trim, but then again I’m not putting the lap times in either so hopefully it will come to me. The seems to catch but looks quite squirrelly too.

One thing I do know, starting 10 or 11 puts you right on the middle of the last chicane and your race is done before it starts

@Stringerbell might be the previous race catching up, sometimes it does this if you do back to back races

Not sure what happened to you there but I can only imagine that being amongst SRB’s is difficult. Be wary of your SR grade as dropping to SR D will potentially make you DR a C as well! 😳🤠

I’m starting around 12-16th in race B at the moment and so wont race again till I improve my Q time. Starting either in the middle or having to navigate the chicane at the start is ridiculous!
The front of the pack gain such an advantage 😩🤠

Well, for me it would mean LMU must be successful AND have great controller support.

That's maybe too much to wish for.

Thought I would try it, 2 laps and I knocked 1.3 seconds off my 911 time! Seemed to be OK in race too.

Even though I have been started about P8, I've gone backwards in every race through being taken out 😏, turn 1 twice, Eau Rouge once....

Considering the Devs competence and how much they listen to the community I wouldn't be surprised if it's very enjoyable with the controller, also from I know even the pc version is enjoyable with controller

Seems like most can't wait for a clear overtaking opportunity. Don't they know a real person is playing behind the screen!? Probably more like they do know but don't give two hoots.

Keep the faith mate. I had 5 or 6 races this morning and bar one or two idiots were pretty clean and fun! Span myself out from P2 on the final lap twice tho 🤦‍♂️ but it has eventually come!!!!

I’m in a low B lobby so my quali if enough for top 3 starting positions, just 4k more DR to get back to were I started yesterday 😂🤦‍♂️

Can’t get close to my quali time tho so have no chance of shaving this down to 18’s!

On a side note, I think I’m going to skip Monday racing moving forward as it’s always horrible chaos so will just time trial most likely

I’m very keen to see how this goes and if it’s good I will switch over rather than buy a gaming PC as the contact is getting ridiculous!

Nice work that. Will have to give it a go.

What do you think it is with the Gr3 then as it seems like we are all struggling with getting punted and hit. I just don’t seem to have this problem in Gr4

I feel it's just the GR.3s are harder to control. If you look at my Wipe out #1 video it looks like they were already having a wobble as they took me out. Don't think it was intentional. Reckless and risky 100% though.
 
Well, I managed to improve in the R8, now at 2.19.3xx and very hopeful a ‘18 will come, it’s a little more tricky to drive and I need to figure again which gears in which corners but I have to say, it’s faster for me than the 911, which is cool because another gr3 car to master.

Started p7 started on a straight 😁 finished p5 and held off a R8 for 3 laps 4tenths behind me, so mission accomplished, we stick with the R8

Is facism illegal? For something to be banned i would thought it would need to be unlawful. Though Sony can choose what they like to include and exclude in their product. The definition is not easy. I had a quick look about the definition in various sources and its not clearly illegal. Looking at the goverment UK resource for legislation it says
"Most extremist materials and activities are not illegal and do not meet a terrorism or national security threshold. Islamist and Neo-Nazi groups in Britain, some of which have not been proscribed, are operating lawfully but are seeking to replace our democracy with an Islamist and Nazi society respectively."

So you can lawfully be a Nazi type and promote it.
If you wish a livery to be banned because you own the copyright to a certain kind of Swastika you can report it to :

This is a weird post.

Anything against the PlayStation Code of Conduct can be reported via "contextual grief reporting tools" (in-game report), which in GT7 suck but do include the ability to report messages and liveries.

You don't need to "own the copyright to a certain kind of Swastika" or write to SIE in San Mateo to report a livery or decal.

It's a bit convoluted but, if you encounter a player in a race who is driving with a livery you believe breaks the COC you have to navigate to their profile, select their gallery, find the livery, then click the meatball menu and pick literally the only option in there: Report.

This is just an example, and I didn't actually report this livery.

I recall in GT Sport you could directly report a livery from the lobby, but I think this isn't the case any more.

Yeah I think you’re right mate. It definately makes stupid decisions tend to times worse doesn’t it!! I just got a P2, which sounds good but only 7 people finished the race 😂😂 and P2 brake checked P3 at the penalty line to get a boost and it didn’t work! Still wild out there.

I can’t for love nor money get a better quali time. Well done on getting it lower!!!

I’m now low B and low SR C 😂😂 if I lose SR again I’m going to have to switch to C and build it back up 🤦‍♂️

I don’t think I have that in me mate, I’m struggling a bit with the exit modulation for traction

On TM I am close to my limit as well
