No need to be so salty, also regardless of what car you drive it’s more immersive and has real visual depth and proportions which with a wheel help you place and contextualize traction, rotation and slip angle and relative position to those around you.

I've never found it immersive. Might be down to the driver model being about a foot shorter than me and half the size. Like I'm role-playing as a hobbit.

I didn’t dodge your suggestion I just didn’t know how it related to immersion?

You also assume that I only drive meta cars which isn’t true.

But to your point specifically I’d rather have the ability to look through a corner or see where the car is, the cockpit isn’t actually the thing you look at as you are looking down the road…..

Mate just put vr on because it does look so good on that video, just doesn’t in real life, I can’t let go of my 50inch oled LG, unless my settings are all to whack but it’s just not for me.

What is great is aces of thunder and I can’t wait for Msfs vr to come out, that’s really cool

I tried aces of thunder because it was cheap and whilst everyone was flying around dog fighting I’m just flying around in awe of it, can’t wait to fly a cesnar around the ground canyon!

Yeah, in DR A, the only ghosting I've witnessed is when there's a perpendicular Cosworth in the middle of the road. No suggestion of it at the beginning, regardless of bad starts.

Well there was some random ghosting at T1 Monza recently or if it’s DR D then that’s always ghosting ok corners, but admit it’s not always lower levels getting those ghosting, just moments I guess when it looks like a pile up is coming, better ghosting than lap 1 chaos I guess 😁

Yeah they've definitely employed a loose, slightly scattergun approach to ghosting in certain combinations, across all DR levels. Turn 1 at Monza, and Mulsanne corner at Le Mans, come to mind.

It's weird, unpredictable, and sends a bad message, in my opinion.

It’s in that friendly way annoying as my optimum is 1.43:9 so I don’t think I can catch you @Nebuc72 but I could definitely sit second on my leaderboard. Too much Saturday wine now but maybe tomorrow as I know where I’m losing my time!

Mostly been doing C, mostly starting from the back - not through choice, I'm just too slow! 😂 Nice to see @GOTMAXPOWER up at the pointy end, and he was using one of my liveries, so I'll claim a vicarious podium 😂

You do know what meta means? If we ignore that karting is single make, that single make racing is the majority of all racing that happens.

Well, race B isn’t getting the love it deserves this week, so I’m doing my bit to promote it 😁

Really great racing today and 2 wins, actually had about 6 pole starts that were either pen ruined, or I think I was nipped by half a tenth and a tenth and a half, but seriously a great group of racers today, all racing hard and fair,

Raised 6k DR today (not that I’m following it anymore 😁) to 26.3k

And when I’ve been starting full BS lobbies it’s been pole, but when the A and A+ crew were there I’ve started a few races 14th 🤷‍♂️

But we go again tomorrow, try to and go to DR A, if so I’ll be happy to leave it for a week 🤣

Defo bro, I’m trying to forget DR but the thought, am I going to finish at least seventh, keeps running through my mind 😁 luckily, it has this weekend unless all the A stars are there, then even 9th will do, but again, fun is being had 😁

Yes, I am DR D, due to a bug in the game[1]. I am slowly improving my DR, but still the ghosting seems more than normal.

It's weird, unpredictable, and sends a bad message, in my opinion.

One has to drive very differently with the excessive ghosting. Often it's better to intentionally start sliding than to maintain traction, to induce the ghosting.

If you're on about Daily A the cosworth gets wheel rub at stock suspension if you have wide wheels, reset the wheels to default and it's fine.

@newmedia_dev mate I’m having having an absolute blast in B, had the pleasure of @Bondwhar in that race but check the video out, he is the yellow car and that’s a novel way to take the corner 😂 and also mr B very nice lap after I just beat your time! Not sure I’m beating that one!

But the video shows exactly the races I’ve been having, clean, close, and everyone being respectful. Such fun.

I’d call it adults racing 😁

But a solid 3k increase tonight and topped the SR too

I think it’s horses for courses with regard to VR. I can’t play GT7 without VR and so looking forward to MSFS to go VR.
At the end of the day no matter how you race it should all be about fun and staying cool 😎 🤠

I’m setting my sights on a 1.57 at GVH, it’s always the race which gets in the way when ur in the zone! 😁 from nowhere and in my first lap I managed to pull a 1.58.1xx out the bag and also had a blip somewhere so it’s doable!

I wonder if GT is like playing darts? Whilst your having a few beers there’s a sweet spot where your golden until you fall off the cliff 😂

Combine this with monitoring the latest actual rain radar data, in particular how it's moving, and you'll soon learn how to avoid, or be prepared for the rain.
