Why do certain drivers do this? 😥🤠
No position to race for and he still decides to play badly and was carrying a 2 second penalty 😳

3 possible reasons for this:
  • He's upset because of the 2 second penalty which he got either of a mistake or because someone caused him to get a 2 second penalty.
  • He thinks it was You who caused him the 2 second penalty OR
  • He's just plain dirty & just plays online to ram & scram..........

We all come across real clean or dirty drivers. We have to play each race with assumption that anything may happen. I know it can get frustrating but You'll also feel great with good races with good results.

I certainly never hit him as I was racing from near the back after being punted off earlier in the race.
He was in another race later on and 2 other drivers stated he should be banned. He’s now SR-C and heading south 💪🏻🤠

BTW, the squeeze & punt that he did....this is the kind of action where PD should've made a provision to report. Any driver that does this gets his SR affected but this doesn't refrain them from repeating these actions again & again.

We can report so many things when it comes to pre & post race chat but we're helpless to not be able to report such incidents. If we could & if PD would be mindful to ban a dirty player say for 1 day or 1 week, am sure dirty players even would regain their lost sportmanship behavior.
 
At the risk of derailing the thread, I'll chime in and say i think it's silly how there's minimal provision for players to get (however punitive) race bans for isolated incidents of aggression.

I understand PD don't want to be flinging around days-to-weeks long bans, but if a player knew that a sharp SR drop would carry the risk of a one-race suspension for the next time-slot then maybe, just maybe they would think twice about silly moments of retribution.

It's just extremely incongruous to me that people are allowed to sabotage others' races and then log back on for another go at it, regardless.

In my earlier race at sard b, I was happily just racing in 8th, passing someone on the left down the straight and he just side hit me under braking going into t1, I either don’t know why these twits bother with racing if they can’t take someone passing them.

Had a race B at lunch which was fun, usual Monday folk getting used to the track, but I can’t decide which one to do, I might have to get up early again and do one of each, each day 😁

@Bondwhar can’t stomach that stuff, no need for it

Been having a little blast at Race B today, racing through the streets at night is such a great experience but it really is white knuckle stuff, exciting though.

Now if I could just get a lobby without 6 A+ drivers in it then I could start a bit closer to the front :lol: Seems like Monday has brought all the top guys out to try the new races, I imagine Race C is even more stacked!!!! The only saving grace is finishing 12th lost me 3 DR due to how stacked the lobby was!

Going to carry on with Race B for a few days at least as want to try and get as close to creeping into the 56's as possible, how these guys are in the 55's is beyond me!!!!

Hopefully see a few of you out there.

How I wish we could have 2 long races (Race B & C). Can You imagine the fun if the current Race B would be a sub 20 minute race with 10-12 laps with a mandatory pit stop as well? Tokyo at night is one of the most surreal experiences in GT7, especially in this track variation.

Race C is fun in it's own right whereas Race B is thrilling in its own right. I'm playing both of them equally & in non meta cars because usually the non meta cars are the cars that suit my driving style. I value fun & clean racing more than a high end result.

They did it in race C back at the start of the year for 11 laps, was fantastic. Although the pit lane entry is chaos!

You think that was bad, check out this rather angry German. I was on pole and had not been involved in a single incident and can only imagine he didn’t like the guy in 2nd. Sadly he hit me full on 🫣. He continued to fight and still ended up 5th!!! 😳🤠

A is fantastic and arguably what daily A should always be, manage the mass and carry speed. But a GT3 aero a car really fast isn’t as driver engaging, for me.

Personally I like the vibe of A and C. B really suited the GTWS and Strat race rather than the sprint.

Also I love having a daily that is essentially a race version of a TT and the car is a handling dream!

Mate you’re having some awful luck! I just had a race B where me and three others just went around pretty much trading places and I went from 4th to 2nd through the last few corners, led for a bit too 😁 when it comes together it’s a great place to race

Man B is so much fun!!! But I’m going to have to move over to C for a bit as my SR has gone from S to B 🤦‍♂️😂 those bloody walls

That QT in B you got is special mate, I’d really like to spend more time in C but the 15 laps just puts me off, I may do some racing there later in the week,

I won’t be touching A because i just don’t have time for another track!

Glad this week offers a weeks worth of racing 😁😂
 
The walls at race B are the great equalizer. :banghead:
