It wouldn’t be a bad idea, my SR actually dropped in to A today 😭 but I have to say next weeks doesn’t really excite me either, don’t think we need any practice on gr4 maggiore

But I reckon going forwards I’d be happy to Saturdays 1400-1600 in a lobby races if everyone from here would be interested in joining

We could all hunt down @newmedia_dev 🤣😂😂

Le Mans in hypercars could be fun for a lobby? Stick on the dynamic weather and night/daytime.

2-4pm is 5-7pm for me which is when me and the kids go swimming unfortunately. I could do anytime 4.30pm onwards?

He's probably not changing tyres, no penalty for not changing them. Gains in the stop and tyre wear here not very high
Oh yeah thanks Mate for this eye opener. I forgot about this option where tyre changing is not mandatory. I ended up following Tidgney's advice in his lap guide video to change the tyres whenever making a pitstop for steady tyre grip.

😂 that’s where it gets annoying, that time is when my fam stuff gets going, but let’s see

I really want to buy that Merc w165 to make another Watkins Glen race with it

I think a lot depends on clear air, if folk are fighting a lot then a no-change stop could be beneficial.
I've tried both methods a couple of times and I don't think it affected my overall position, but also not sure what everyone else did.

Had one race where the lead Porsche pitted on lap 1, I had what I thought was a good race in P2 and pitted on the last lap without changing, and came out 5 seconds behind P1 and 15 seconds ahead of P3 - I think in the post race chat though, there had been some carnage behind 🤣

I wonder if A will be karts or maybe a small class racing car?

Otherwise it will leave maggiore to focus on all week

If I remember correctly don’t you hate that track? 😂 RM could mean it’s going to be Gr3 hopefully to at least spice it up a little.

I’m going to spend my time in C in the hyper and plummet my DR all the way down to D

At this point mate, I’ll take it because it’s at least one track of the three which can be raced and agree gr3 would be better than gr4, because RMs on gr4 will be a slog.

I couldn’t even bronze the TT at lemans so I won’t be touching that

You are getting faster mate, I seem to be getting slower 🤣

Ebbs and flows doesn’t it mate. I think it all comes down to what combos suit a certain style of driving as to who is fast where.

I’m just working through the last couple of menu items to unlock the lemans circuit experience to have a go at it

The one good things about being at BA, a win 🤣

I was fortunate I have to say and last couple of laps I could see some intentional blocking ahead of me and I just waited for the inevitable before I swooped in there!

Nice to see @Rossell2 out there who unfortunately wasn’t so fortunate

Congrats on the win ol chap. Had a slight tangle with the Ferrari that eventually crashed into me which is why he was so far back, but had to try and go for the move because the Jag was faster in a straight line. Recovered to 7th in the end, we get them next time 😊

Cheers mate, I’ve realised this week it doesn’t pay to race too hard in this combo 😁 nice to hit a clean though, hope to see you again, raced @Duppy Gee earlier too, who is rapid in that Atenza!!!

Jesus Christ!

Has anyone don’t the circuit experience for Le Mans???

Just finished it after putting a good few hours in!

1.2m for that seems well underpaid. Feel like they should give you one of the new hypercars or something

Racing that next week is going to be absolute carnage and make Tokyo look like a safe driving school

I’d personally take some lessons from that, do he CE again and improve.

Secondly next week will be really weird, karts on A gr3 on B and early doors stacked for C but that will fall away. What I’d watch for is how scripted the weather is, I’d assume it’s the same as before and either repeatable and dry with a weighting to more dry on DR

Yeah it’s a tricky one isn’t it, I fully golded that, not sure how judging by my recent TT

I just can’t imagine racing it online would be carnage at my level and seriously rapid at yours!

If I remember the last time I did maggiore gr3 it was when the new 296 came out and I stuck with that, even managed one or two wins I believe, the only thing which can ruin the week is if maggiore is reverse!

After tanking my DR at Interlagos last week (no pace!), I’ve been recovering it at Barca.

Really enjoy the challenge of driving the Alpine on those ridiculous street tires. No grip = need for gentle inputs and good car control. So different from the Gr3s and 4s.

Really hope Race A next week is Miatas at Miyabi!

It will probably be karts as the tires are SS

Honestly sometimes you have to wonder about the why people race this game only to hit ppl off, block them, put them in the wall, it’s almost like they have a death wish because that crap is coming back to you,

Tokyo has been an excellent race this week which looks great, I changed car to the Porsche just for a change, mostly great racing out there but as my SR inevitably hovers over low S I’m picking up all these twits from C & B SR, absolute tools the lot of them

yes I spent quite a bit of time in it and it gave me good knowledge of the track and what turns are coming.

One thing you will probably know more then me, the Peugeot 908 HDI FAP was way quicker but really finicky in the corners where I had to be really gentle on feeding the throttle but in the new Porsche 963 in the time trial you can slam your foot on the accelerator like it's a Gr4 car and it just stays planted.

I know it's RM in CE and RS in the TT but shouldn't make that much difference, are the cars wildly different?

Yeah it's rough, golded it last night and got silver in the TT, think I can get gold in the TT by using higher gearing coming out of each corner and think I can brake later.

Hate to break it to you but next week is labelled as full course reverse :boggled:

How have you found the Porsche? I found it much slower on the straights, in the Supra are you short shifting? 127 in 4th and 148ish in 5th? really drives the car forward and coming out of T1 in 5th with an Apex speed of 112ish. Can really shave quite a few tenths off with just those things.

No not short shifting as I found it slowing me down somehow 🤣 I’ve been revving it to the max, maybe that’s where I’m going wrong

The Porsche is nice to drive, only problem is 6th gear is like an anchor 🤣

I’ll try short shifting later on, I think I did my pb with that earlier in the week

Was thinking to race the gt at C this arvo, just to SR repair

AND effin great on the Maggiore reverse, I’m defo out there and if it’s karts at race A I’ll just shelve it for a week, I may even buy rennsport and project motor racing, just to plat and hot lap, the dailies have seriously under whelming recently so maybe it’s time to try something else

Edit. I guess you have your speed set in kph? I can’t get 147 in 4th, but the tips were helpful thanks mate, improved my time a little, are you doing first turn in 4th then shifting out or just taking it in 5th?

I said 127 in 4th for the shift mate and 148 in 5th.

I drop to 4th on T1 then straight back up to 5th and on the power.

Same in last corner. Down to 3rd then straight back to 4th to exit with Apex around 90ish

Haha thanks mate, my eyes must be going in my old age

I’ll try for a 57 this arvo as it doesn’t look like I’ll be playing much next week

🤞 race A isn’t karts 😂

I’ve shared my replay under Brockie if you want to chase or have a look at it

Hope it helps mate!!!

I’m stuck on this Le Mans TT!!

Need to find 2 seconds for gold!!

So painful screwing the lap up 3 minutes in 😂🤦‍♂️
Into the 57s on the first lap😁

Also changed my rotation to 270

Edit. Mate ur a genius, I’m flying now 😁

Noob question. What's wrong with the karts for race A next week?

Enjoyed the TT in one at Eiger recently.
Never really got on with them tbh, maybe with rotation settings tweaks it could be fun, but I doubt all week fun,

There is that TT for Mercedes though, gold for that looks pretty possible for me

Just Maggiore reverse ugh, they always do it to me

What a contrast, with a little help from @Stringerbell and some rotation changes, never used 270 degrees before but worked a treat here, went from mid B and struggling to stay in SR S to maxing out B and S and then fighting DR A sorts,

It’s the little things which change your racing

Couple of vids here showing how great the racing has been when it all hooks ip

Did manage to beat @Bondwhar time 😁 and did increase DR by 4k today!!!!

I’m going to rinse this bad boy whilst I can 😁
