Well I have to say itā€™s been a good weeks racing this week in B, would have been nice if i just chose B on Monday, learnt them tweaks that @Stringerbell helped me with and raced there all week, but it is what it is, Iā€™ll do a few more in the morning early before my run and then go to work hoping A is racing miatas rather than karts, but letā€™s see.

Letā€™s do it again next weeks chapsā€¦.. maybe

Race B has been class this week. Absolute outrageous carnage but itā€™s such a fun track!!! Cant tear myself away šŸ˜‚

Iā€™m going to split my time between B and C next week. Just at the very least to experience racing hypercars

Not sure it will be for you mate. Itā€™s 14 laps of Le Mans so not quite the right balance for your short races šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚ must be nearly an hours race

Karts for race A as well mate šŸ˜Ÿ

EDIT: Slight saving grace is that race B is Gr3 not Gr4 so makes it a bit more interesting

An hour Daily-race with new hypercars at Le Mans! Like a dream come true.

Life is busy this week but I'll just have to make time for some races. Anyone know if we have weather or day/night?

Yeah I purposely left home a little later today to check šŸ˜ 14 laps Le Mans is mad! Way too long indeed, itā€™s like a mini 24hr race

I might give the karts a bash if someone can help me a little with settings otherwise Iā€™ll start at 270 degrees and go from there

Failing that I might have to DR killing and race LM reverse, but sure that ainā€™t sticking! Have fun out there
 
The entry slots for race C are going to annoy people, because it's a long race they've set it to 1 per hour, so if you load the game at 12:01 you will have to wait 59 minutes for a race to start.
 
So guys, after the 2nd weekend on my alt account (48 races in total, 13 from the back with no qt; no rage quits) I reached almost 1/2 DR B (18440 pts). Tokyo was an hell of a fun venue, regardless the countless times I got punted. 90% of the times were the classic malicious punts "from another galaxy" at hairpin, one of which really "pit-maneuvered" me with consequential 3 sec penalty for crossing the line šŸ¤£. The best result from the back were some 4th (after being also punted), in C lobbies. Then I reckoned a QT was needed to at least stay far from midfield chaos in order to fight regularly for podium.
I like the track even if I'm not that fast in it. I envie all that could enjoy it since Monday, but soon I'll be able too. I mean, by the end of Sommer I'll should be able to play again on a dayly basis.
For this weekend it might be La Sarthe from the back, but maybe it'll be circuit experience to raise some money.

It's been a while since I did Race C but this one especially since it's a day and night cycle coupled with a chance of having rainy conditions (which happened on the session I did), I'm digging it but the 14 lapper gets me mentally tired but it doesn't change my mind that I like the race.

Was only able to do one for today and I was proud that I was able to get a podium finish for the first time in a while for Daily Race C.

This move is what led to me finishing on the podium as I managed to gain P3 before sunrise.

Ok this was a false start!

I was unaware you had to buy ALL the tyres šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚ only had mediums and it was hammering down!

Gone from 16th to 11th on my 6 minute first lap as 5 people quit. Popped it in the pits and reckon I will get a top 8 šŸ˜‚

@brockie i might join you in the hiatus this week. Really wanted to try Le Mans but the absolute garbage radar system means youā€™re rushed to make a split second choice on tyres and if you get it wrong then the race is ruined from lap 1 and itā€™s an hour driving round on your own!

I tried the karts and I have to say, with 360 degrees wheel rotation, itā€™s ok, started 6th finished 3rd in my lunchtime race, itā€™s all flat until 1 corner where you need to chuck it around, the fun here will last a few days I would say,

I did see however the LM race had the BRZ as the meta, I think Iā€™ll do some QT this week in that to see if I can put a time together, but a slow week I think,
 
I don't like LeMans but applaud PD for going all in on Race C, some folks are going to absolutely love it. Race B, why reverse? It's a terrible, terrible reverse track... bleh. Race A, I ama huge fan of the karts, the racing is awesome, but there has to be more than one track for them? Why not Suzuka East or RBR short or Barcelona National?

Yeah this does expose some flaws in the matchmaking system... I qualified on pole, forgot to change to wets, and binned it in the second chicane before getting DSQ'd due to penalty time. :ouch: I love GT7 but now having to wait another hour just to start a race is a bit ridiculous. Is this another weird preference of PD or is there an actual reason for this?

Ah good point, didn't think about players. From what I recall I used to quite like the FM8 multiplayer generally (aside from the omni-present rammers) because of the more frequent and varied system, though GT7 has quite easily outlived that game so maybe the longevity-style approach works better here. Unpopular opinion but maybe GT8 could do with something like this?

My steering at LM Reverse feels super super light when Iā€™m going round the corners, usually it gets heavier as Iā€™m turning.

Really notice it as Iā€™m coming back round for T2 after taking the first right hander up hill, feels like I have no force feedback.

Does anyone else get this? Is this me losing grip or is there an issue with my wheel base?

I put a few laps onto LM and had a race, I do actually quite like this track so may put some time into it. If I decide to race I need to find 2 seconds from where I am to be competitive later in the week šŸ¤•

I tried a 3rd time and I managed to get a full race in. (It was bone dry so couldnā€™t screw up the tire choice).

To be fair it is super cool going day to night to day again. Iā€™m awful at the combo so was on my own for over half the race which is pretty boring when that half a race is 20 odd minutes. If you can be competitive and race people the whole way round I imagine itā€™s an absolute belter.

Same here Iā€™m trying to keep an open mind, new track, new car, Iā€™ll get pulverised if I race already so just watching some guides and doing TT at LM

My problem is that I keep thinking of it the other way round backwards rather than its own way, if that makes sense
