im in. Would be cool to implement google earth as the street view or some rough version of a 2 lane road based off google earth data. MSFS24 does it and seems to have the roads almost exact. the buildings are generic but it could work if elevation is used. then id be fine buying as an add on by the states if possible in the future. drive that car you built on roads you drive irl.

My idea would be that instead of just transitioning between the locations via the click of a button (garage, café...), you could drive there instead, using your pre-selected car. Adding these free roam functions would probably be a lot of work but I'm sure they have the budget 😂. But to be honest, full free roam would kinda take the point out of the game, as it's built to purely just for formal racing.

Whenever ai coding tools get released it always makes me think that hopefully its getting used to make things like the gt7 time table for cars and of course tracks faster.

Yes I know it would sorta take out the point of the game but its not like its iracing or the ea f1 games, this game has cars that are made for the open road, not like the other games that only feature gt3 cars like rennsport.

They could just add a little part of the tokyo expressway for free roam with traffic for some no hesi vibes.

There's a reason why other games exist. Why make a Forza Horizon clone when there's already Forza Horizon?

To expand the game and increase sales by appealing to a wider range of audience members. I get your point though, GT isn't supposed to be leisurely driving, the whole idea is based around doing what you can't do in real life, such as race in Nürburgring.

Why would I want to drive around a simulated real world - obeying all the speed limits and traffic lights? Because that’s what Gran Turismo would make.

People really need to get over the fact that this isn’t Forza, this isn’t the F1 game.

This is a “take your daily driver on track day” game.
This is a “modify your car for racing” game
This is a “checkout these awesome cars” game.

If they added a realistic mountain pass area, that was purely for photomode and tune testing, I feel that would work well within the Gran Turismo lore.
