Theres a shelf inside the studio of PD where they bought Tamiya Plastic Car Kits. As you can see, actually a lot of cars shown here have made it into the game, most recent one - the BMW M3 also sits in this shelf - as well as the Volvo Estate from the update before that.

So with this rare insider information, i am very confident that the Ford Focus WRC from 1999 will actually make it in the game within the next update. (note this is speculation only & not financial advice!)

Which cars from Kaz Tamiya Car Collection do you see coming to GT7?

It's a picture from our article on our studio tour in 2019.

This is neither "insider information" nor anything in particular to do with GT7.

Aw, I was hoping they'd add the Triumph TR7 to GT7...

You’re basically saying that PD only collects scale models of cars that are definitely coming to their games. That’s a stretch.

Though, we can probably expect to see some of those cars in GT7. Not because of the scale models, but because they are classics regardless.

Speculating purely on Tamiya kits (In a picture straight from a GTP Article that's 5 years old) and using "Insider Information" in said title is certainly a decision.

Except one thing: The Volvo 240 SE Estate from 1993 is what was in Update 1.48, That Tamiya model is the Volvo 850 Estate BTCC from 1994.
