GT7 Online Time Trial/Lap Time Challenge Discussion

I got in just under 19 last night with an 18.990. I felt out of control using TC1. TC2 was much smoother, but I would just watch the time go in the wrong direction despite that. So, I turned TC off completely tried CSA strong which worked better. T'was a lot more consistent.

Some laps again in the Demon as long as my brain can handle..... after 2 sessions I can honestly say I hate it....
My goal was a .8xx and that worked out pretty well and that's enough for me here, it will probably not stick for a first page but top 100 isn't realy worth something for me on this combo to be fair.

From first few silly hours when it was possible to set the time by hitting the wall to actually nice TT

Easily addictive and since lap is so short reaching 200 laps for one hour session is fun 😊

All top 10 players saved the ghost, thank you very much for that, especially P1 @EbrahimX7

Wonder if we are getting Polestar next coming Thursday 27th of November or it will be 4th of December, considering if winner of that TT will be able to arrange travel to WS finals in Japan on time? Few days to wait and see 😊

I hope we get the polestar quickly too, that seems like a good challenge on a short lap.
and.... I can't wait for these running TT's to be over 🤣,this one is bad voor the left hand too with almost constantly trailbraking 🙄

I tried not saving the ghost believe me 😂😂 it doesnt work. The lap is so short it uploads so fast lol.

No aids other than ABS (can't remember whether it's weak or strong, but I never mess with it anyway, so it's whatever I used in the NSX and all the other events) :cheers:

Yeah the top times do stay in 4th ( i went to 3th on my previous pb ) and implement a very little handbrake shenanigan for extra rotation 😂 But also did a high .7xx without the handbrake so it's not a huge world of difference but it rotates fairly good at exact the right time 😂

I think that could be it, need to experiment with no brakes... havent played in a while. Actually this combo really messed up my thumb for some reason, probably cause of gripping the wheel hard while my thumb on the ebrake button. I cant stretch it lol its been stuck with a narrow opening when i try to open my hand 😅. Aging sucks 🥲. Maybe carpal tunnel is creeping cause even my index is lightly stiff. Track is very brutal to arms and shoulders when playing nonstop

Oh ok, well all I'm doing is a little trail braking really so I guess I'm in the ballpark in that regard...but I usually pop up to 5th at one point in the lap. Although I never touch the hand brake.

I both hope and not hope at the same time that not braking was the missing link to improve your lap time even further :lol::rolleyes:

Well I stayed on 5th the whole lap, didn’t brake at all just lifted, still sitting at 20th, my highest rank ever😃

What the hell??!!....i've been doing my laps in 5th gear only (18.979) ,no brakes, i did a better time yesterday but my rear kissed the wall right at the end:irked:......back to the track we go:rolleyes:
 
Is it just me or is Northern Isle a combination of North Wilkesboro and Bristol?

@Ikura i tried this morning but for me personally there is no way of making only 5th gear work, and doing this without braking does cost me a lot of time, so i have no idea how you pulled this off :lol:
