So ,somebody decided to make everybodies Monday morning by setting a new top time at Suzuka which knocked me out of gold by .007....Happy to report it only took me about 15 laps to post a new gold time !

So,funny story,lol.....years ago i had switched the turning range/degrees on my wheel to 450 when i played Forza, it just felt like the car was tighter ,better control, i could fly on those highways with great precision .....so i'm doing laps at the speedway and i figure i'll check and see if its still 450... and sure enough it was.....i switch it to 900 and on my very first lap i beat my time by .041 :boggled:

PD... a wish for a new TT :)

Can you give us the most demanding TT challenge this winter? Proper Rally car and tuning allowed. That would be awesome!

See tracks in the snow, someone like me thought it was doable :D

Your lap is 100% safe, let me kick other people's golds in peace 😂... once i get the .5 ill stop until someone gets close to me. Next session i will get that stubborn .5 🙏
Put some cool livery on the back of the car and save the ghost so when we chase you were can also admire the look of the car too 😎

At first, couldn't be bothered to even put in a daily workout for this lacklustre copy TT as seen above.

... however some pace started to develop and the session continued for a while. Kinda felt like I should at least get close the time I managed the last time around in March. Very comically the improvement I later managed was the identical time I set in the very same TT we had back in March, on the thousandth, .222. Consistency is key, etc... :D

And for comparison's sake, the same but March TT:

Split S1: 25.779 v 25.770
S2: 41.206 v 41.221
S3: 1’17.031 v 1’16.993
Finish: 1’35.222 v 1’35.222

Never really was particularly good through Casio, bleeding some time there still but oh well...

Maybe this would've been a top 200 without all the Danny_Sim duplicates :odd:

Really was not invested in this copy of a combo.
Lap isn't too bad, T1-2 I lost a tenth and probably another tenth through S1 and another at the hairpin, but the back half of the lap is pretty much optimal for me.

Lap replay using T-cam since we don't normally get that option.

And now who's idea was it to put a Charger on comfort mediums and then the track to be Northern Isles?? What kind of joke of a combination is this? Guess I've got another week of not doing time trials then.

Quick note that this TT will run for two weeks as usual, in case anyone expects a one-week only TT due to potential physics changes as per the Eiger update precedent.
My guess if physics change:

In case times get faster -> no sense in partaking now

In case they get slower -> setback of times -> no sense in partaking now

There are no physics changes. I have my sources. Im not speculating. I know for sure.... UNFORTUNATELY 💔
On the other hand, that's fine...

I don't want to have to redo all the setups if they change the BoP like they did with update 1.55...

I agree the physics (and feedback driving on a wheel specifically) are less involving and fun to drive than they have been during GT7's lifetime.

Which is a shame for TT's when it's just you and the track.

They are solid enough, it's not terrible, it just feels a bit rigid and flat compared to previous versions, and what other games offer.
