Didn't we already have an NSX/Interlagos combo?

Oh who am I kidding, they repeat three of the combos all the time, so that wouldn't be new.
I think so, but I am not sure about the MP4. On the other hand, to depart from Senna theme and remain in Brazil, the Ford Maverick was assembled in Brazil during the 70s too...

That would have been about a year ago:

The results for TT232 at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya GP Layout No Chicane in the Hyundai ELANTRA N TC '24 are over here.
I have updated the opening post with the index of all TTs and the second post with the community scoreboards. A reminder that each driver's results for every TT are in the Excel file attached to the latest results post.

Wow surprised how "easy" that Barcelona TT was, I managed gold but man, I really do stink driving FFWD cars, I just seem to bog down, maybe wheelspin is my issue, not sure.

If only there was a legendary Brazilian driver to whom a corner of Interlagos is dedicated.

And if only there was a car driven by such legendary driver in GT7 Legendary Car Dealership... (or the NSX for that matter)
Considering they hardly bother coordinating with ANY F1 Weekend (Not even Suzuka if we want to stay Honda themed last I checked), its quite an unfavorable longshot to expect PD to be THIS hyper aware (Or to at least do so on their end). The fact it took this long for a one-make race featuring the F355 Berlinetta for this week's weekly challenges (and not even on a real track) only solidifies this even further.

Current TT time with my main Gr3 of choice - Suzuki VGT Gr3...barely in gold, and honestly I don't expect it to stay there but I'm happy I even reached it in the first place! (I'm terrible at Fuji)

Urgh. Don’t like Fuji one bit.

I’ll accept the 250kcr from one flying lap only.

A very tiny (0.008s) improvement at Blue Moon. My optimal is in the 21.7s but I’ve yet to hit everything perfectly.

Sometimes you take accidental random photos (well I do cause I’m an idiot) but this one shows the joy of this TT in VR.

Really? On controller it was an absolute no-go zone but once I got a wheel I really like it. Ideally the no-chicane layout would be better but regardless, i quite like it. Biggest mistake you make is to brake too late anywhere in final sector, brake early and rotate asap.

This is the discussion thread for an article on GTPlanet:

Gran Turismo 7 Online Time Trial: Fuji Fighters

This week’s new Online Time Trial is a Gr.3 free-for-all. Gran Turismo 7 opens the category up at Fuji International Speedway on Racing Hard tires, with Mid-Speed BOP in effect and settings fixed.
I’ve been loving Fuji since I was introduced to it in the 2004 Gran Turismo 4 Special Toyota Demo, but I kinda wish they’d have more event that limit players to certain cars within the various categories. For example, the three JGTC-era GT500 cars within Gr.3 would be the perfect motif for Fuji, as far as I can tell.

That said, if the Jaguar F-Type Gr.3 is the most popular pick at the moment, then I’m definitely interested in giving it a drive.

I’ve tried it in dailies a few times mate and I really really dislike it 😁

I’m sure there was a race in an older GT in a Ferrari F40 or a Porsche which I struggled with in bygone vintage and I still hold a grudge! 😂

I have always liked that car and IRL I have a soft spot for Jaguars. Only thing that can be tricky is remembering to shift early if you've just come from another car, runs out of lungs in an instant.

Tried the older Porsche like Tidge did in his video (controller) then jumped on the Jaguar after. Jaguar was better for me. Snuck into Silver but will reattempt next week or so since it's still early.

Time for me to move onto the other TTs. Got my goal of a sub 1:22 at Blue Moon. 1:21.930 to be precise. I know I have another 0.2 in me though so I’ll probably be back.

The video and my awful commentary tells a better story.

GT7 | Blue Moon Time Trial in the A6GCS/53 Spyder - 1:21.930

Holy hell that Jaaaag is understeer central. First session out in it, and almost got into the 1:40s, with a 1:41.061 (optimum of a 1:40.886), but Christ that's a lot of fighting.

And **** the bollards.

If you want understeer try the merc , ill never understand that car.

I am a big fan of the jag but found the 991 faster for me 42 flat, could find another half second if I had to . the 991 is arguably the best sounding gr3 car.

Went back to Blue Moon and knocked a couple of tenths off this morning. Optimal is another 2 tenths faster but every time I have a fast lap I bottle the last corner so I don't hit the wall on the exit.... Even though I'm not actually damaging a car or myself in real life I just end up being super cautious by default!

I have improved my time VERY SLIGHTLY (1:42.615) but I do feel I'm genuinely at or close to my absolute limit, I struggle here, especially on the final sector and the first left handed (I'm never brave enough haha)

I saw this tweet from Super GT and i wanted to beat him in less time than 4 hours

Mission accomplished! It took me 2 hours to close my fastest lap and for sure i wasn't expecting a 58.1 😅 i throwed an absolute hail mary at the chicane and somehow i didn't flew off the track
Damn that was a really satisfying lap!

I'm a bit lost about the handling complaints. It's NGP, of all the tracks in the game you need to be patient on the throttle. THere is too much understeer for sure but IMHO that's more to do with the BOP set up than the physics.

Fuji has been ... strange. Maybe those physics are not being easy for me to get the hang of them. Using the Mercedes GT3 '20 and the car turns like a truck. Those RH tires don't help at all.

I did a gold lap of 1:42:7xx but I barely screwed it up on sector 2 exit. So I could only do a 1:43:016. Pretty sure gold is reachable. But man, what happened to the physics? I used to do a -0.500 in Fuji compared to Gold minimum. Or maybe I am just getting rusty.

I’m really not a fan of Fuji. Of the few cars I’ve tried so far, the 992 has given me the best results and wasn’t an understeering mess. As long as this time holds I won’t be back.
