Oh boy, that should be a thrilling challenge for Rally fans. Seriously, I'm sure many people will be saying how much fun they are having at Colorado Springs.

@Gorefast why would it be hard? The hardest challenge for me is getting gold at the circuit experience on the lap attack at Fisherman's Ranch. It's like lifting barbells to even get a perfect lap in the allotted time. Maybe trying not to hit the walls while going fast would be hard on a dirt track.

Oh, really wooohoooooo... Finally....
Can't wait to come home from conference from abroad...

Bring it on

Thank you PD.. THANK YOU.... FINALLY!!!!
You must really like Rally tracks. Fisherman's Ranch is not my favorite as it's too long and confusing for me, I always can't get a good time on it. Good luck at Colorado Springs, and be careful not to get dizzy while driving.

It would be harder than usual because racing lines are far more difficult to hold on a rally course, cars get way much more and faster unsettled on dirt what makes beeing consistent a lot harder if you ask me.
Plus, i think the majority have less hours on dirt than on tarmac ( just like me )
and it's a fairly long track, lots or room to make mistakes..... and aliens don't make them

The smelling salt would prevent that

Ohhh hello, I really love this!!! My opt. Is a 1.29.3 but as a control pad user I'm more than happy at being just 0.05s off Tidgneys controller time!

That's quite a start you got there , easy buddy.... we all even haven't started yet, leave some for your fellow mates!
Nice result!

We've done that before...
I can't remember if it was on GTsport or GT7 with the R8 Gordini...
and in reverse too...
I was surprised to do a ‘miracle’ lap and get a good time...
what will happen this time???...🤔🤔 😂😂 :gtpflag:
I think many people will struggle on this. Like Jomar said, cars can get unsettled and lose their balance on dirt courses. It might be helpful to turn on the assists to get an idea of where to brake and turn for each section of the track. You're still using the wheel, right?

I gave the two new events a quick blast on the controller this morning. Managed a silver time after 2 laps at Watkins - a track I love and am good and familiar with - so I think that one should be a gold for me without too much trouble. The dirt one though...not even bronze after a handful of laps. I'm not at all familiar with the track though so that will come down pretty quick I suspect. But gold? Well we'll see...

Hopefully I can get some time in tonight with the wheel.

Come on Zev, I did 1:37 on second lap you can do so much better 😁

Your comments on TT172 motivate me to try.
lol...well in my defence, the controller is not my primary device. I do all my best work on the wheel. And as I said, no familiarity with the track. Plus, I'm not very good.

The Watkins one is really good you should definitely try it. The car is actually pretty great.

And as I said, no familiarity with the track.
Zero familiarity whith the track, in that direction at least, I was completely lost to the point that I nearly entered the pit lane instead or staying on track 😅 my second lap was cautious to be less surprised by the direction of the turns and avoid touching walls.

will need work !

I think it's impressive that until today's time trial, I had hardly even thought of the 2J being in the game. GT7 really didn't treat its icon cars well.

Not really my forté. Pretty decent until the final corner which felt quite mid, oh well..

Echoing the disappointment in the Yaris yet again. Yes, it's the third time. Six rally TT's and 50% of them in the exact same car, how lame and devoid of creativity is that?

It really is pretty lame. How hard is it to do something a little different?
