Morning friends!

Very quick pit stop for me as life is incredibly hectic, in fact last night might be my last session of the year due to work commitments. Improvements at WG but left some time on the table again, it’ll do and I think if this is to be my last I’ll have kept my streak of finishing in the top 100 in every trial I’ve attempted in 2025

(Mainly because I did NOT attempt the Yaris at LL 😄)

So if this is it enjoy the rest of the year everybody, I’ll check in when I can!

Oh damn. I think I will come back to Colorado Springs and try one last time for gold on a rental. Totally forgot about those rim shenanigans. But it is probably skill issues anyways.

I always apply a livery I like and they often come with new tires. Is there a way to check the original tires including size and offset and such without buying the car again? Or could someone check and post the tire specs here? Then I could check wether my livery has changed them.

And does anybody remember what we had found out before? I think it was the Lake Louise TT where the rim impact was first discovered or widely discussed here.

You can check and change after you put the livery on.
Go to the wheel rims area, click on the rim that is currently fitted and whatever it tells you there will be the size and offset fitted.
You can then change these back to default whilst keeping the same rims, however you may lose the colour of the rims if they have painted them.
In this case just go to the livery editor, create design using existing style and paint the colour on. If you want the exact same colour you can check this in the livery editor before you change the rim offset

I don't believe it!!!.....can you do TTs with ‘wide tyres’ and ‘wide offset’...???🤔🤔🤔
I'd be very surprised.....

In my opinion, just like the BoP for power, wheel specifications are back to ‘standard’ regardless of the livery....
Besides, ‘wide’ cars are not allowed, and on “normal” cars, wide offsets would cause a lot of problems... with steering because of the ‘wheel arches’...

It's happened to me before... I had to modify my rims or raise the ride height...
