When you say slow exits, I assume you mean the hairpin and Casio (chicane)? If so, try exit in 3rd gear. Degner 2 exit in 4th also worked for me
Yes exactly those, especially hairpin. Exiting (fast) in 2nd is definitely doable on TC 1 whereas it's almost impossible on TC 2. Not sure how the two settings compare when exiting in 3rd but it worked well for me on TC 1 after I switched my approach.

Degner 2 in 4th works very well yes, but only if you hit the apex well and exit at about 145 kph. Personally this corner was very hard for me due to the high speed nature of the approach. I often bogged down way too hard and /or missing the apex. But of course then the lap is messed up anyways so not really relevant.
Does anybody have a good tip on how to get through Degner 1 consistently? The optimal line leaves absolutely no room for error. Either turn in too late and run wide or turn in too much, hit the curb and run wide.

I feel like to mitigate this I would have to actually break quite a bit which would lose many tenths I guess.

Right now this corner is an absolute lottery for me.
Here I finally got it working. I slam the pad stick to the right slightly after the 50 board to hit the apex right after the inside curb where I then do a micro lift.

The lift being ultra short is key here. If you just lift all the way you will understeer off. The power after the lift seems to increase ground effect or something to drag the car around.

Not lifting at all never worked for me either. I always overshot.

If I understand the car physics modeling accurately, maintenance throttle helps keep the car balanced, giving all 4 tires equal weight (mostly) and thus more traction over the entire car. This is especially evident in mid-engine and 4WD cars. A car that is neither and can really show this concept/action/reaction on SH tires around BMS Infield A, at almost every turn, is the Toyota Supra 3.0GT Turbo A '88. Your welcome to have a look at some replays that will be tagged with 20251109D1 or D2 and/or 20251116D1 or D2 to see it, if you didn't want to try it yourself.

Edited tire grade

Started with this TT yesterday.

And today I got silver, so close to gold.
Look my previous time at right (it's direct capture), I cut 0.700!

I drive without HUD too, this is little problem here bcs u don't see nothing.

Later I turned on this ghost and few times I was at front until last corner...
Usually i don't use ghost in GT7.

Top of my friends list right now which never happens, but it's very close and @Dan_Tes and @Gomario JSP haven't put a time in yet, and @half_sourly and @crome can certainly go faster as well (but please, don't feel obliged on my part!!!)
So all those other folks are slacking off, huh? Good thing that you can always rely on the Germans to spoil the fun! ;)

Should not be an insurmountable challenge for you, just a few more hundredths. But I couldn‘t give you this one for free ;)

This looks a pretty good lap man, unlucky not to get gold. I think the little squirm exiting the senna S really cost you, maybe 2 to 3 tenths. Nice lap though.

Good to see you all hammering the Formula and what good to see that i have chosen to skip it :)

I must say it's a delight to have one timetrial now for me.....were i had a fairly good lap in, so i have time off!
This morning started at Interlagos again, bit after half a lap came to the conclusion that i totally didn't feel like lappin, so turned it off again :)

Wondering what we are getting next, ...... but seeing the last choise of TT, it will problably be Redbull Ring GR4?:lol:

PLZ... not GR3/4 in TT`s

Sadly, the complexities of life have gotten in the way of my TT efforts and I'm likely going to have to take the silvers in these two current events. Dealing with circumstances related to aging and ailing parental units has all my non-working hours divided up between eating and sleeping and visiting one or both of them. Hopefully the situation settles down over the next week or two and I can get some free time back.
