Last night I managed to cut my time, but still not in 31's, it was 1:32.002

This morning very first lap and bingo, 50 thousands under 32!

Little later, this, even faster lap:

I just love this TT, but I know I won't be able to get a gold - leaders have simply too quick times.

Had another go at the Zooonda TT and managed to wheelie the damn car!!! Very good!! Fun times!

Wow, that looks like a great lap for the morning! I wouldn't be able to pull of such a magnificent lap first try but i think the cornering could be improved particularly the exits as you're riding on the curb too much, bouncing the car around. Furthermore, the start of those double chicanes you can definitely go full throttle. Great work!!!

Just curious, are you using a controller or steering wheel? As that could affect your ability obviously.

Thanks on kind words.
I'm kinda overall better in games at morning...
Playing with Dualsense.

A bit sad seeing all these rapid Zonda times, I've gone and injured my shoulder so had to hold off any proper lapping. I've even been shamefully cheating on GT7 with another game (Arc Raiders).

Anyway, to scratch the GT itch today I created logo to salute the Chicken of Death. I don't know why anyone would want to stick it on their Zonda but anyway it has been shared with the tag 'deathchicken'.

Seeing a physio tomorrow so hopefully I can be patched up enough to start chasing all you sadists again...

Ah man, bad luck. I know exactly how it is, I have a chronic right shoulder injury from a car crash that happened 20 years ago, and to this day it bothers me when I overload it, especially when sim racing for a longer period of time. Even now, I can do a 1h session, maybe 90 minutes, no more, and I have to take one day off, no matter how I position myself in the rig. But hey, there are worse things in life :)

Wish you a speedy recovery so we can continue the chase

The current number one is available in the data logger (Akagi_1942mi) but I think I’ll struggle to get close but it’s super cool to see where I’m losing. I’m actually braking later in some places and this is causing me to lose apex rotation speed as I’m arriving faster, barely understeering - but I’m loosing it in rear traction oversteer

I woke up today and had a look at TTs - when I see new time from Fraga (like he need it) and look where am I now:

Tried to lowered it my time, but didn't make it.
I'm too much in Dragon Trail Seaside TT last days...

Will try Valley again, for sure.

Last night's effort at Grand Valley in the Power Pack Supra. Pretty high position for being 0,94% off but it's clearly an insane lap by Fraga. Almost threw it away by accidentally steering a bit much on the final bridge and nearly grazed the wall but survived, albeit with a somewhat ruined line for the final tunnel and had to lift to save the lap which cost a tenth. Satisfied with the rest though.

Had a weird one with the Supra at GV, was struggling to get more than 2-3 tenths below the gold time for many laps, then suddenly managed a sub 1:55.00 and I'm not entirely sure where or how it happened but I'll take it (yes I'm getting old 😂)

Sometimes it just clicks, I guess. In truth, I feel it's because I was almost always on throttle, if only a little bit, carrying max speed through some of the longer corners

The Zonda is doing my head in, my best lap is 3 tenths off gold and that was with me taking the COD VERY, VERY gingerly, there's a ton of time on the table. However, COD aside, I just cannot get a clean lap in. 9 from 10 laps are invalidated as i just cannot get this car to tuck it's nose in, I brake early etc but just cannot adapt to it's understeer both on entry and exit, i relentlessly miss my marks, very frustrating.

I'm finding this to be the case as well. Or I'll go and actually have a good lap where it behaves...and run headfirst into the wall at the COD at 150 mph and throw that lap away.

I rewatched @Tidgney 's video and I think I see a spot or two where I am maybe losing a fair amount of time - specifically that third RH turn. I am letting off before I start turning, rather than staying in it and only lifting when I go over the curbing, and I think that may be losing me a few tenths right there as well as occasionally causing me to turn too early and go over the curb...probably.

I don't know, I'll probably go back at it today or tomorrow if I feel like screaming into the void and pulling my hair out. I'm gold by a margin I feel should be comfortable, given the top time hasn't dropped recently (or if it has, not by much), but I know I should be several tenths below that. Somethings just...not jiving.

Problem with best time is that is done on the first day of that TT, 1.1., and I think that Japanese guy can lowered it if he needs.
And two guys came pretty close.

At Dragon Trail Seaside, I think I done my best time, but I will drive much more if tomorrow's new TT won't be interesting...

I just want to improve my time because I'm relatively unhappy with it. Which compounds with the fact that I am unhappy while doing it.

Happy new year everyone!!
First TT of the year with the power pack Supra, honestly the car looks freakin amazing but i don't really like how it handles.
After getting a lot of 53.9 this lap came out, with a bit of surprise by myself ahah
The TT year started good! 🏁🔥💣

Am I crazy or is there a lot less people competing here these days? I remember a year ago there were much more posts here, a lot of people missing that were active back then, @Dan_Tes @A_Higher_Place @AdxRE @djolliea just to name a few from the top of my head?
I pop in from time to time. Mostly focused on team enduro events and the upcoming GTWS atm though.

I just put in damn near 200 miles in that horrible Zonda AND DID NOT GO ANY FASTER. I've watched the replays, including the #1, and that RH turn I was mentioning, how can everyone else cut it while my car goes absolutely flying?

What the actual **** am I doing wrong? I am at my wits end here.

I saved my replay (again: NOT EVEN MY FASTEST LAP by about one hundredth of a second), but I have not a clue how to get to it to get it on YouTube.

My theoretical best is a 1:30.208 or something infuriatingly faster than the .932 or whatever garbage is my fastest now. It just...doesn't happen.

You can’t take the replay and upload it to YouTube properly speaking. The game save the data of your replay (car placement, speed, etc) and not a video file (this is how I understand it works correct me if I’m wrong). What you can do is create a video clip using the share function on ps5 while you watch the gt7 replay then upload it to YouTube.

Same process on PS4?

Well that sucked. I really did not enjoy this combo and struggled allot on it.

But I got it done. I won’t be back.

The COD wasn’t the worse part. It was the sausages that sent me off to oblivion 9 laps out of 10 and a car that seemingly wants to kill you at every opportunity.
