I'm really enjoying the Amuse S2000, aside from the walls!! Sadly short on time at the moment, so I've ditched the M3 and focused on the S2000, which is probably the most fun I've had in a TT for a while despite a lot of red laps. I think I may have a high 1.55 in me if I can avoid the walls

Tough to string together that real smooth lap around Autopolis, not really a track I pick to drive if I can choose myself. A couple of tenths could be found I suppose but oh well... That'll do nicely for me here. Quite a nice ride, this M3!

I just took a spin at Trial Mountain as well!

Really seems like a game of playing into the slidiness of the car, because God knows it won't stop or turn in a natural way.

I always have issues rolling off full brake to trail brake in left hand corners due to my setup of being an office chair not at all attached to my wheel stand, so a couple of the corners here really play into that inconsistency, but still, I was able to knock out a decent 2:11.367 tonight, probably can get into the 2:10s if I get lucky with the slides. Maybe.

Don't know which wheel stand, here's what I used to connect my office chair to my wheelstand pro.

Works fairly well, is somewhat adjustable and gives about 30°+- lateral movement, should I want it.

Weirdly I found the opposite. You have to allow for the fact that the car is heavy because of the battery but I found the car really good at turn in.

Perhaps it’s my rig and pedal setup?
Or perhaps it’s because I got used to driving a real 400+hp EV?

Yeah, lets make a nice flowing track!......
Yeah, let's **** things up and let them run it the other way.....
yeah, I truelly hate it when they do this..

Good car dough

But life is good! cause my time in the M3 held up for a top 100 in the end and i didn't had to go back  :) :dunce:

Didn't touch the wheel for 12-13 days, since the first day of this TT, had some other things to take care of, so I just managed to put together one more proper session and was not really happy with it, I had a clean 2:02.200 in me but ... but but ... Same old story...

We'll see how the Impreza is, and I still didn't try the S2000, so many things to do in the next week :D

That's a cool option! I just have a Vevor stand I bought off Amazon. It had four weld nuts at the back, clearly for a chair tray of some kind...but they don't sell one to go there. I tried contacting their customer support and they were asking for my order number which...I wasn't asking for warranty support. I gave up very quickly when it was clear they'd be of no use.

My plan actually is to have my buddy make up a seat stand that I can slide into the back of the wheel stand and then secure to those four nuts, and then put one of the car seats in my basement (stock front seats out of my Cobalt, and a pair of 4th gen Camaro seats that I had put in my Cavalier) on that. Gives me the modularity for storing it over in the corner along with not having to move something gigantic and destroying my back or hitting my TV stand or coffee table, and also allows me to leave my office chair at my computer desk in the other room.

That said, I have to actually do this. Unless it's gonna cost me more than just getting a new stand with a seat, then I'll just do that and deal with the size (the Playseat might be useful in that case).

Well, I guess it's not that it didn't turn, it's just that I could feel the front tires just sliding sideways as you went through the turn (via the wheel at full torque setting) if you tried to carry as much speed as you could. If you can get it to pivot instantly, that eliminates a lot of the time lost waiting for the front to stop sliding and you can just punch it out of the turn.

It's a lot of mass to try and make do something other than going straight, and on Sports Hards it kinda just...resists, because physics.

Well that's interesting. The revbar for the STI '04 in the latest TT is just flat out broken. Would any fast one be willing to see if the below numbers are simply faster? I'm expect the correct answer here to be a little later than 'perfect' shifts. There's a proof of sorts here: Subaru Impreza Sedan WRX STi '04

GearUpshift RPM
1~7400
2~6900
3~6800
4~6700
5~6700

Thursday evening and nokia de cr*p out of this combo 🤣
This thing is an absolute yeeeeet, T1 is sooo good 🤣

T3 , the righthander after the first hairpin is realy difficult, still looking for a turning point fot consistency but still haven't found a good one.

Most difficult seems to be the last 2 corners for me, although.....tomorrow it will probably be a different corner 🤣

Fun combo! and a decent start

I totally agree, T3 is incredibly difficult to nail.

Great fun with this TT though , unlike the previous one !

Hey folks,

agree with most of you, this is a good one! Also a very fun layout that I‘ve never driven before. After reaching a low 2:00 early on in the session I set my goal to break into 1:59 which of course then took much longer than expected 🤣 the stars just wouldn‘t align. But anyway, I enjoyed every minute. Not done with this one yet 😉

I jumped back on this evening as I got bored of work and got the world record 😲! My optimum is down to a .7, so I fully expect a 58.6 by somebody at the end of this combo. Not sure I'll have time to jump on again, but that 59.0 was bugging me as I ran out of time this morning and could easily see the 58.9!
