Lost almost a tenth down the back straight by bouncing off the rev limiter, but hooked up the final sector really really nicely. ABS weak.

Adjusted my braking point strategy for turn 1, now I'm using the marshal only, not a gap between the marshal and a post.

Sure ...another reverse.... why.... just why.....a track is designed for one way right?

I normally agree, on the vast majority of tracks I really despise it. However, this one just works, it's a really cool track with excellent passing opportunities. It's best with group 4, anything more powerful and the whole lap is too dependent on the last few corners.

You also get the lap-ruining chicane out of the way early, so you at least know if your lap is worth running versus killing it all lap and then biffing it right at the end

You guys were right indeed, it does flow way better than i would expect!, chicane....def better at the start and this layout has some realy fun parts!
Most difficult for me is the right hander after the long tunnel, but fun combo to spent some time on the next couple of days!

I got 2:13.04x and was on the brink to break into the 2:12 several times but couldn’t have handled sector 3 properly. Hopefully, tomorrow is a better day for us.😀

Made some wheel adjustments to alter the feeling, which bore the fruit in my brief 30 miles dash.

First adjustment was reducing the Controller Vibration Function from 150 to 90.

The final tweak was a minor reduction in the FFB sensitivity setting from 7 to 6.

Controller steering sensitivity still -2. This setting impacts wheel users as a steering wheel is a 'controller'. Reducing it to the minimum kinda means you are working with a blank canvas so to speak.

Anyways, happy good Friday all. And special meeting to Cosmic and Blip for there mid twelves🫡.

Found out a curious little detail that explains why the safety cars are so much higher up the leaderboard. I believe @XSquareStickIt had asked about this.

The base car has a fully open differential, while the safety car comes with an LSD stock. Odd that this somehow gives it a lower PP rating with GT7's calculations, but I don't expect those to ever make sense...

BRUH.

I drove my BALLS off to barely scrape Gold in the Road Car! Admittedly, it was a really fun experience, but still! That left me with no time to check the Safety Car in detail.

Those track limits are incredibly suspect...and the curb in the final tunnel invalidating your next lab is entirely ********. Not really enjoying this one right off the bat.

I managed a 2:14.174, probably have 2:13s in me, but certainly not 2:12s.

I know the feeling :lol: i had my first session on the TV this morning, still better than the remote laptop sessions at thursday evening.
had a lot of "almost" laps this morning :lol:, a 12 is def possible for me cause i do have some struggle points on the combo.

A: The righthander after the long tunnelstraight, getting the car lined up for that tighter left hander after that is a real struggle for me and i miss apexes there more often than i hit them, or i'm scraping the wall :lol:

B: that last Yeeeeet sector seems quite difficult for me on the controller for some reason and i am still looking for some consistency there.

But for a heavy boat it's quite a fun challenge!

Managed to scrape off some time but i'll try again over the weekend but not a bad start :)

First of all, congratulations on P1!

Thank you for sharing settings. Do you know if these settings works for Thrustmaster wheel too or only Logitech? I think I read somewhere that Thrustmaster overrides steering sensitivity settings regardless what we put or maybe I mixed them up with steering angle?

( I am offline for some time but I read forum and will hopefully be back soon)
