I would say I prefer this car to the Red Bull

Cheers! 😀
I join in the good wishes, in a few months I'll be turning 60

This kind of time trial gets me thinking that they are just sitting down in their HQ, eating lunch and competing who will think of the most ridiculuos combo, laughing out loud.

I can think of a worse car for this track, but I can't think of a worse track for this car, with its short gear ratio and absolutely no brakes. And don't get me started on the suspension, just shifting gears makes me seasick in VR.

And speaking of VR, imagine my surprise when I saw that I'm driving in a yellow suit (the Dior special), at first I wasn't sure if this is really me or I accidentally played someone elses replay.

Only thing that was logical after that is to give the Dior a new matching paint job.

I'm sad that I can't play Britney Spears on the radio while driving, that would complete the experience.

Nevertheless, I had a solid banker session, .500 is possible probably if I decide to come back :D

To be fair, the Pantera was a POS to drive IRL apparently. Agree this should have been no chicane option.
Horrifically bad, yes.

But wonderful to look at.

So it's a moot point now, since the Hellhole TT has ended and I otherwise always use rented cars, but I recall @Tidgney doing a test with oil life and BOP essentially negating any effects. That last session I did, what felt like an excellent lap was not even gold, and when I saw the car had "Normal" oil life after exiting for good, it made me second guess that, as that would explain a lot...but that doesn't seem right.

But then again, nothing about that one did to me.

Well...at least it's something with a little less downforce this time 🤣....but jezzzz this thing wobbels like crazy 🤣, no brakes ....suspension like a sailyaught and does it even need 4 gear? 🤣, anybody skipped it already? 🤣

Weird thing ....it feels yeetable ....but it kind of isn't 🤣

Not a bad one one the remote setup and not a bad start

Here's the latest guide for those interested! Sorry its late, GCSE day so very busy day this morning organising and supporting!

I noticed that in your braking for the two chicanes, it'd be full but kinda waver a little and go back up to full (not the ABS) - was that intentional, or just how your foot was braking on that particular lap?

This is the discussion thread for an article on GTPlanet:

Gran Turismo 7 Online Time Trial: Monza Lisa

This week’s new Online Time Trial keeps the Italian theme rolling. Gran Turismo 7 puts the De Tomaso Mangusta ’69 (in either its standard or Christian Dior livery) on Autodromo Nazionale Monza, running on Sports Hard tires...

Was intentional I just thought I hit the brakes a bit early on that particular lap so was just adjusting

I was feeling good today so I decided to finally try the Sausage TT, and it was quite fun :D I didn't push too much in terms of attempts, gave it about 45 mins, had couple of amazing S2 splits, including the hairpin, right in the bumper of WR ghost and every single time I absolutely fail at the last chicane. Tommorow I will go again, I believe 23s are right there for the taking :)

And the NSX Gr2 is one of the rare cars in GT7 that has the perfect VR seating position and point of view, no need to touch literally anything :)

Wow, that Mangusta really doesn't like to stop...or turn...or hook. Much of anything, really. I had a few laps where, braking for the second chicane, it just seemed to...stop slowing down towards the end. Other laps, no issue. At points it kinda just seemed to go where it felt like, and many times, the only steering input it didn't ignore was countersteer, and it hyperfixated on it and ruined the lap.

Still, it was more enjoyable than constantly ****ing up a nearly-ten-minute lap with an incredibly skittish car. Was able to get down to a 2:05.403, with an optimum of a 0.181, so a pretty solid start, at least.
