I guess in VR it will be incredible, that's probably the best track in the game to experience in VR because of the scenery and elevation changes, and in cart you are out in the open, but still, the physics on this thing is atrocious...

Like I said

This kind of time trial gets me thinking that they are just sitting down in their HQ, eating lunch and competing who will think of the most ridiculuos combo, laughing out loud.

Karts at Eiger is a top tier combination, trust! We've had it as a daily A (in 2024 IIRC) and once in some GTWS season. The flow is really, really good, ain't no trolling here.

The karts are great fun , just need to turn ASM on, otherwise they're mega twitchy. I live them in the dailies, always good racing and this is a good track for it. I may well struggle but I like the idea.

A mega banker session, and worst of all, I lost a whole tenth in the first sector, compared to my best time of the day, so this will be the first TT in a while for me to give a second session, probably tonight. Mega fun in VR!

There will be a delay (I'm hoping only a delay, and not a cancellation) in getting the results out for the two TTs that ended today. Unfortunately there is an ongoing issue with data and this time it affects results through the card.

Well, I didn't really push any TTs since the C63 at CGV, only gave each one a single session, so you had your chances But this one is amazing!

I never drove a Racing Kart in the game and it’s a new experience for me. I was always avoiding it because I didn’t like it.

Except for a really god awful right sweeper after split 2, this is a very decent lap as far as my knowledge of this car goes.

Exactly the same settings, tried ABS off but you need to drive the car completely differently, I wasn't prepared to learn a new method when ABS default was already gelling nicely.

My wheel settings, controller vibration function very important, max it out

About the Days of Play time trial - I really don't get why there is always one winner in these GT/Sony competitons, be it time trials or that 'get your face in the game' PR stunt. Wouldn't it be logical to give away some consolidation prizes as well, for 3, 5, 10 best players? Why do such big competitions and then end up with just one winner every time? Another thing is that the 'big prize' is in fact just 2 fancy controllers and 2 PSN vouchers.

Beside that, to not be such negativist, I want to stress that I enjoy GT7 and regular time trials.

Gave the Kart a whirl and I just do not understand where I am bleeding time. Optimal 10.6, actual 11.2 but I look at Tidge's controller lap and there were a few scrappy bits there but still 2 full seconds up on me, I don't get it.

I 100% agree, why just a single prize for the top racer??? Hell, that cuts it down to about 20 people. Maybe a couple random draw prizes for the folks that have ZERO chance of being #1. I mean come'on, the world series is going on and those guys are getting all of that glory and now one of them will most likely win this too? Geeezzzz. The prize pack is under $600 (IIRC), so would it be a big deal to make an average player's day with a cool prize?

Second attempt, I did some experimenting with assists, seeing that the top guy used ASM instead of CSA and he used TCS for first part of the lap, but I couldn't adapt to that style, so I went back to ABS-off, CSA strong, nothing else.

This was a good one, and looking at the sector times, I could maybe find another tenth in the perfect lap, but that would take many many attempts, we'll see
