European Sunday Cup 400: DS DS 3 Racing. My first ever laps around Sugo were with this car and at the pace it has, I feel 've quickly grasped it.
The Silvia Sisters: Nissan Silvia Spec-R Aero. Same story as always, out matched down the straights but a straight up beast in the corners. Works everytime
World Rally Challenge Gr.B: Honda NSX GR.B. Same GR.3 derived setup from years ago and though it requires even more delicate control, still works
World Touring Car 800: Porsche 911 GT3R. Seems abit easier this time around.
Special Event: Certainly one of the more leisurely races done.

SUGO is a lot of fun in "normally powered production vehicles" with good tires. I used the 91 BMW M3 on RH and it was super fun to carve the apex or just rotate through the last turn.

Not so fun in faster cars though.

World Rally B is still hot garbage. Used the modern Subaru.
CGV is one of the worst tracks ever built and this specific race is farcical. Ended up using a downtuned GT500 Nissan because I can't make any of the GR.3 work here let alone be fast enough to catch a cheated up leader.

2CV was hilarious and reminded me a lot of the early days of the series when you'd race the automotive equivalent of vacuum cleaners and you'd like it!

Intersting week and it was nice to learn Sugo. It seems like a pretty fun track and I'll be using it in my customs.
For the one-make I lightly modded my 2CV with some downforce,SS, ecu uprade and sports intake/exhaust. It was fun as I only overtook first halfway through the last lap.
Sugo saw me in a stock E30 M3 which was fun on this track. Took the lead on the last lap and won by a few seconds.
Silvia Sisters in the same car I've won this before, my SR20 swapped Silvia. The usual took them in the turns and won by a few seconds.
Gr.B also in a car that has won this previously, my DirtFish WRX. Easy 40 second win.
WTC800 in my Porsche that also won this previously. Not stock as I could never win with the stock one. Got first on lap 6 and pitted for tires and fuel at the end of 8. Came out in 4th. Worked my way up and overtook Drumont halfway through the last lap. Won by 2.5 seconds.
Ticket got me the Ferrari Superfast which I'll sell sometime.

Porsche is cheating with huge gap and no matter I drove very good race, I didn't manage to win.
Strategy was RM until lap 7, then pit and change to RS.
I was flying around track, but it wasn't enough...

That's been a nice set of races, nothing too spectacular but an enjoyable mix of events I think. Had the idea of using French cars only but I couldn't find one eligible for the Silvia Event. Sadly. ;) So I used deux Citroens, deux Peugeots and une Nissane.
Best things this week :
No 1
We have Sugo in the game now. Did the Weekly Challenge and the WTC 800 so far and man that track's got a wonderful flow and some very interesting and demanding sections.
No 2
I tried to copy J. Imai's golden Silvia. Got the wrong car ( the S14 '94 wasn't available ) and the livery is far from exact but it's been super fun for sure.

So here's the whole bunch :

Race 1
Citroen Ente '86 - CS / 33 hp / 590 kg / 270.65 PP / CRB ✅
WC_261016_E1.webp

The Speed of Light is different !
WC_261016_B1.webp

Race 2
Citroen BX 19 TRS '87 - SM / 126 hp / 1,000 kg / 450.05 PP / CRB ✅
WC_261016_E2.webp

A rust livery would be appropriate - IRL she always has one !
WC_261016_B2.webp

Race 3
Nissan LT5 Silvia S14 '96 - SS / 908 hp / 1,139 kg / 740.85 PP / CRB ✅
WC_261016_E3.webp

Left J. Imai in the dust halfway through lap 1 !
WC_261016_B3.webp

Race 4
Peugeot RCZ Gr.B Rally Car '17 - RM / 709 hp / 1,205 kg / 698.70 PP / CRB ✅
WC_261016_E4.webp

Driver thinking puh I survived the final turn ... again !
WC_261016_B4.webp

Race 5
Peugeot 9X8 '25 - RH / 603 hp / 1,044 kg / 799.40 PP / CRB ✅
WC_261016_E5.webp

Simply black : the livery for the lazy and untalented !
WC_261016_B5.webp

The prize car's been a Bugatti Chiron '16 which I ... you know the game !
The Power Pack challenges are ticked off as well. Did some races in the Tuning Section with the LT5 monster ... before it gets scrapped again.

Just tried the Porsche 919 Hybrid on the highest difficulty level in the WTC 800 & I ended up 59 seconds behind the 1st place. While I'm a very slow driver, it's also entirely boring& stupid that after 4 years we cannot choose starting place & we cannot choose to qualify!
I almost always usually play at the slowest AI difficulty level for good reasons, but the lack of options in all other areas than the custom race is below gameplay standard decency. Starting 35 seconds behind the leader is 30 seconds too much!

Edit: Made another attempt with a Super Formula & ran out of fuel..!!

Edit 2: Accomplished 2nd place with the Toyota TS050 Hybrid '16.

Edit 3: Finally won with the Peugeot L750R Hybrid 2017!!! I didn't 'need' to punt any AI car but it was "tough contact" a few places. :)

After all these years, do people still not understand that these are not races? These are challenges. In that CGV challenge, you have to drive well enough with the correct car, to be ahead by the end. You should catch the leader right at the end of the last lap. You can do it with an 800pp car with fuel savings and RM tires. You can even boost up a 911 GT3R. I did it with the GR2 08 NSX, but any of the GR2 cars should work.

I don't believe that there are any races in the single player campaign, but I could be wrong.

A race happens when the opponents are competing with you for the win. That never happens in the regular single player. If you want to race the AI, you have to go make a custom race. That's where you will see the AI actually race you.

I also struggle sometimes to find the car that suits me or make things easier especially when i don't know how the AI behaves ( pitstops and when ).
With the last updates all the past group C cars become killers .
Try the Mazda 787 ( for example) and kill them all without guilt. 😂

Two new cars for me, the Mazda and Citroen.

Mazda RX with Marcos LM600 livery, I just did one stop for tires as I used RS and the lowest fuel setting.

Not use the Focus in ages, years even.

I hate the Silvia Sisters races, I don't think it is possible to win with the recommended PP, I did try but went with my S14 One:1.

Just about won with a new 911 build, unable to get it down to 400pp.

This is how close the finish was!

Because for me, that's how a race car should behave - responsive, compliant, and consistent. No turbo upgrade needed.

Copied the same setup used from Sugo but with the springs in their softest. ;)

And finally, my "RB22 Junior" to cap off the challenges.

Improved the time here, using the softest spring setup.

But the track exposed the car's weakness - being too much power for the chassis, which most of the engine swapped cars suffer from.

However, this is the best solution against 40-second rabbits in a WTC 800 race.

This is a precedent but I'm not sure it is a god one.... My normal response to a "you must drive this car" event is to just change the tires to close it out. HOWEVER, that didn't with the chuggachugga car.. had to do the breathing trio: air filter, muffler, exhaust manifold to get a whopping 3 hp and end the misery

And then I see online they have this wing that looks like something from classic Top Gear plastered on it

We have achieved silly, approaching plaid.

This week's challenges (Combined with some of the new content) has had me achieve my goal with only two and a half months left.
2 and half months left until...? 🤔

Personal goals 😎

I don't know. I didn't understand why getting to 100,000,000 had a time limit on it. Just curious.
It was a goal I personally set for myself. Simple as that.

The Integra swap was way overkill for the 2CV race, but hilariously fun to drive.

Used it in the Sugo race too.

Haven't driven this car in a while.

The Hyundai was slidy when braking while turning, but made for a fun race.

How confidential is your setup for this car ? I Had to adjust mine somewhat with the lowered ballast after the update. It's still a very potent 800pp car.

it took a couple of tries to secure the WTC 800. The dream is still to get the The dream is to get the McLaren P1 GTR to muster against Gr.2 or Gr.3, but sadly fuel burn holds this car back. She finished 6th, although probably could do better with a good tire strategy. I had forgotten this car comes with DRS.

A completely neutered Peugeot L750R was able to place second with some careful fuel management.

IMG_5624.webp

I admit that @RCKakashi14 is way better driver than me but i disagree that Red bull is the best way chasing 800pp fast rabbits 😂

Not happy with the set up and my skills that can be consistent for so long , i went on a test with Mazda police force .

Race one RH tyres FM6 no stop
IMG_20261018_084251421_HDR.webp

Race two RM tyres FM1 pit at 7 lap changing tyres and refuel
IMG_20261018_090341344_HDR.webp

RS tyres ,FM1 pit at 6th lap tyres and fuel
IMG_20261018_092604620_HDR.webp

And the 18een barrier collapse !!!
Am sure a more consistent driver can put a lap in all those rabbits and turn them to hares 😂

Don't know if @ROCKET JOE has the time or the appetite for this but am sure @Xtremrider591 can figure it out to prove am right.

I added weight, but no ballast adjustment either. I didn't change the weight distribution ever since that NSX engine slammed in.

That, I can only share.

Asking @RCKakashi14 to reveal a set up isn't so simple .
Have in mind that you can't do it alone and in a polite way , you must bring company with special skills in order to achieve a positive outcome, something like that might be helpful and still am not sure how much 🤣

@smoothbore12 Hello !
For me, Mazda 787B 800pp RM strategy is a good compromise of speed/fuel consumption/tyres.
The Red Bull Swap is very tricky to drive !
I work on this tune but it's difficult so work in progress actually 😅
I test it later this afternoon with the Mazda 👍
You want a tune for Mazda or Red Bull ?
I have, if you want, a Mazda good tune.
Now, I put many games on my JB PS4 Pro 😁
😉
