Finally a funny & comfortably win at a 900 PP event at the hardest difficulty level! SF19 Toyota '19 at 17.15 19 seconds before 2nd place a mandatory RC F GT500! I would have tried all of the formula cars, but I thought I would try the WEC cars first, or Red Bull cars, or the SRT Tomahawk cars or Mazda LM55 etc. I might try the other 900PP events also on the hardest difficulty level even though this is something I changed only a few weeks ago. Despite a bronze/silver [time trial] level player can win in the 900PP on the hardest difficulty level these races are still not funny enough when we cannot choose starting place or tire wear or qualify for starting place or start from standstill!
Edit: Got 6th place with Corvette CXR VGT Concept on [hardest difficulty] RH but tires got burned.
Edit2: Got 6th place with Nissan GT-R LM Nismo '15. [hardest difficulty] is this car substantially nerfed in the latest update?
Edit3: Won again with the Toyota TS030 Hybrid [hardest difficulty] RM FM 1, 3 seconds before RC F Spaniard Ordonez!
When i start and during the griding era , all races was at easy level and the weekly races was just another grid opportunity.
After a long period grinding stops and i change to hard level and only sometimes went back to easy when an event was uncomfortable for me .
900 and 950pp races aren't my cup of tea anyway and still sometimes i want the job get it done .
They are races that AI are hard to beat , you must have the " right " cars and good strategy .
What is important is to put personal goals to achieve no matter what are they .
That makes things interesting and more enjoyable , for me the most difficult part in some events is to take CRB depending the race and the AI.
But also am not always care about it .
So , put your goals and try to make it done.
Don't compare your self with others , just take what they can offer and use it.
Always they will be players , better than you , faster , taller , prettier etc.
Do your thing and try to enjoy it challenging yourself first.
