It's a Gr.2 ! Doesn't matter though - don't we all use the different cheat car classes every now and then ?
I do not feel guilty nor remorse dropping a nuke on those 40-second rabbits.

And do not forget:

I am not above wrecking them just to let them know a piece of my mind.

Not really the fastest, as I just lift and coast on FM1.

EDIT: Made it sing a lot more this time around. The crowds deserve to hear that heavenly 4-rotor orchestra.

Did three flying laps.

And oh, both Gallo and Wong will NOT PIT.

Classic PD move.

Mercedes SLS AMG...in the Wet...at Dragon Trail Gardens Reverse...is certainly choice.

Mercedes SLS AMG...
Fun fact about this one, loosely related to one of those times when someone kicked off at me for listing Mercedes models differently than the game does in the GTP MCL.

The SLS was a Mercedes-Benz. In GT7 it doesn't appear under Mercedes-Benz, but a faux AMG brand. Except its "Real Car Paint" options don't: they, and those of every other AMG, appear under Mercedes-Benz because there isn't an AMG brand for paints at all.

I'd rather place both my fists into my master out tray to the elbow than write "AMG SLS AMG" in an article.

I forgot to mention the difficulty I was doing the WTC 800 event at CGV on: So on the highest difficulty, it had only been the Ferrari and Porsche I was successful with. Its also on this difficulty that for some reason, Serrano cannot get around Krause until he pits. No idea why, but this is something I've observed repeatedly after testing several times. Also, we can add Paul Erra to the "Worse then Serrano" Category because in the one time I got him starting in front, he NEVER lost the lead. Similarly untouchable as Drumont.

As for the conclusion to the V6 GR.3 cars, the Hyundai Genesis GR.3 was somehow THE closest as I got as far as 3rd. I was pleasantly surprised as it did not feel like the understeery car it was in Sport. If anything, it was more tail happy (though less of a mess then the GT-R GT3 was while having identical power figures). Now onto the other cars before this event disappears from the weekly challenges.

The GR.1 race is guaranteed rain, correct? Its been...awhile since I done it so I need confirmation.

This is the discussion thread for an article on GTPlanet:

Gran Turismo 7 Weekly Challenges: Crouching Tiger, Wet Dragon

A fresh batch of Gran Turismo 7 Weekly Challenges arrives as your console’s clock ticks past midnight into Friday morning, refreshing the five events for another seven-day window...

Fun week and a good special event. Sunday Cup needs a decently fast car but a stock Stratos had no problem, even without ABS. Silvia Sisters is at a track I really like and the AI isn't stupidly fast so you can win with part tuned or swapped cars on SH. Time trial was a lot of fun, glad they changed it up and made it more interesting even if it wasn't a full lap. Quite easy to get gold considering I beat it by 2 seconds on my first try. VGT Trophy had a few really fast cars starting up front, however they also struggle a bit around this track so I was able to win with a stock Gr.3 Peugeot VGT. 720 PP on RH seems to be where you need to be to win. Gr.1 at Fuji is a really fun race as it goes into the evening and there's always a chance of rain. Used the Ferrari VGT and won by over a minute, hardest rain I've ever seen on this race starting on lap 3 and kept going until the end. They're really slow in the wet considering a few cars came out the pits before I did on the right tyres, still pulled a massive gap in 7 laps. Even in the dry it's possible to win this race with Gr.2 cars too, lots of options here.

Cars for this week:
full

Had no idea gardens had rain. TBH that video looks too easy, especially without TC. Wet in a SLS IRL would be a handful.
Yup. I think it's the WTC700 or sorts on that track that has rain most of the time. At least when I've done that race.

Tidy selection this week gonna enjoy this. Wondering if in the next update there will be a specific PSSR2.0 tweak/optimisation included, been blown away by what its done for Cyberpunk...

Surprised by the special event, was preparing myself for a struggle, but got gold on first try, just driving cautiously, pretty difficult to maintain traction, wether when braking or accelerating, but target times are pretty lenient.

The gold target is very lenient. I was going super slow and was sure to have missed it but beat it by 2 seconds. Big surprise indeed.

With the WR at a bit over 1 minute flat in a regular time trial gold would be at about 1:02 which would be much more of a challenge than the 1:05 we got here.

Doing only this one (on the first try) nets you 160 k in a minute. Pretty nice.
