My PP races for the week. All repeats. Wanted to see how some of my cars compare to the AI's.

Today I managed the clean run at Interlagos I was hoping for : Chaparral 2J, standard 3sp gearbox, RM tires. Used the same one stop strategy as before : FM 6 for 7 RM / 5 RM.
I had used the 5sp racing gearbox for some time now but this race was a bit of an eye-opener. Found the 3sp similarly fast and way cooler to drive. Guess I've found a new ( old ) setup for the future. :) The 2J how it should be ? ...

Love the livery.

And the lap time is actually quite nice considering the fuel map usage. 1:22s are my benchmark for this race since they are similar to how the WEC LMP or Hypercars qualify in the 6h of Sao Paulo.

Cars this week:
all on hard difficulty, ABS weak, no assists, PS4 + controller

Sunday Cup Classic:
Abarth 1500 Biposto Bertone B.A.T 1 '52. CH tyre, weight reduction stage 3 (->748kg) and all permanent engine mods (-> 118bhp). Coming in at 339,91PP. Easy win + CRB ✅
Japanese FR Challenge 450: Nissan Silvia K's Dia (S13) '90. CS tyre, downforce 10 front & back (because of the livery). Coming in at 449,41PP (1140kg & 174 bhp). Another easy win + CRB✅
American Clubman Cup 700: Ford GT40 Mk I '66. RM tyre, downforce front 50, rear 100, no further tuning (-> 1080kg & 359bhp). Coming it at 621,39PP it obliterated the opposition. Win + CRB✅
YangWang Special: RS tyre, downforce front 70, rear 170, race brakes + pads, weight reduction stage 3 (->1642kg & 1305bhp). Coming in at 751,87PP. Despite the lack of sound, this really is the best EV in the game in my opinion... However it doesnt feel as fast as it is... Maybe it's me🤣. Win, no CRB🚩
WTC 900: Peugeot 908HDI FAP '10. RM tyre, downforce set to 1000 front, 1600 rear. 878,52PP (930kg & 710bhp). FM1 all the way, but shifting halfway up the bar because you don't need this to rev that high. Pit at end op lap 8 for tyres and fuel. Another easy win + CRB✅
DIESEL POWER B****es 🤣🤣🤣

My go-to pick for the WTC 900 races is the stock MP4/4 '88 with everything off. No TCS, no ABS, no Assists, no HUD, no pit.

Did not disappoint. You gotta short shift like a mofo to get to the end without pitting. The default tires are Mediums so you gotta be careful towards the end as well.

The only thing left to do is stay clean for the CRB. Great race.

Well this was... underwhelming to put it mildly. Admittedly my GTO is pretty quick for a muscle car, but this was the first time I had ever driven it at the Glen so the first lap was a bit of a shakedown and still ended up doing a one shot floor sweep with the so called 700PP opponents. No engine swap, nearly (depends on who you believe) stock Ram Air IV engine specs, actual Muncie M22 gear ratios with a 3.36 final drive, in other words a car that is probably mechanically closer to factory stock than many real ones nowadays. Sports softs though but a track day means track tyres.

Here's my list from this week. I ran the Japanese 450 several times because I love the track and the cars.

The Merc made mincemeat of the competition.

The Miatas were fine, but that Toyota SF-R was fantastic!

Rubbin's racin'. Easy peasy win. I always forget how good the Delorean is.

This car's name is a swear word according to PD. First place was pretty easy with a moderate tune.

I didn't really need the King of the Hill for Interlagos. A very bland no-stopper. Love the LM55
