Not too exciting of a week.
Lago was in a Twingo with an Exeter tune which I dropped down to below the suggested. Such a boring race. Maybe if it was longer. Won by 7 seconds.
Blue Moon was in my stock Enzo. Caught up to Valerio on lap 2 and he got trapped behind 3 other cars by the wall of the main straight. He ended up mid-pack at the finish. Won the race by around 10 seconds.
Cones? Meh. Bronze and done. Not my thing and it's not like it will improve my driving. I'd rather do a TT.
VGT in my go-to Lexus that won this race previously. Easy win although got ugly a bit when one of the AI cars played block-me . lol
Now this WTC600 is always a pain in my butt. Mainly with the Ruf. Never easy for me to find an easy 600pp in my stable. I had to dig out my swapped Celica. It was a fight to the end v the Ruf until I made this move and won it by less than a tick.
Ticket got me a Dodge VGT which I already had 2 of so I sold it.
On to the PP.

Have you tried the Blue Moon race with a 600pp car and hard difficulty ? It's a real tough one, Gallo's car is certainly not 600pp, closer to 700 I think. Took me 5 tries with a Mclaren 650S.

Hello everyone. I've finished the new challenges yesterday night so if you let me join in, here's how it went for me.

Event 1 at Lago Maggiore
Well ... this is not a race. It's a caravan of learners at a training facility.
My rusty Barker was detuned to 360 PP but I got in the lead before the first lap was over.

Event 2 at Blue Moon Bay
I built a swapped BAC a couple days ago and thought why not use it here. Since I know about Gallo by now I went to track a good bit above what's recommended ... and still lost the first run as Gallo got through early. Which wasn't the case at my second attempt. ;)

Event 3 at Kyoto
I like cone challenges. I like the ICONEIC 5 N '24. I like setting my own goal and go. That's what I thought at least. But the randomness of reaching the line without getting spit out of a corner from one of these orange monsters indeed is nerve wracking.
So this time, I actually stopped before I was there really ...

Event 4 at Tokyo
Didn't want to go with one of my usual VGT contenders and picked the McLaren instead as a first time drive. It's a wonderful car. 👍
Doesn't reach the top speed of some AI opponents when detuned to 840 PP but it stops on a dime and corners like on rails.
Feels like this race is my event of the week and I'll most likely try some other cars there.

Event 5 at Road Atlanta
That's what I did, chose a bigger boat. A swapped BEAT. 550 PP on SS compound. The wolf in sheep's clothing. It's not quite as easy as you might think with the car being super vulnerable and brakes being almost non existent. So you need to be very very careful and drive with a lot of foresight. If you manage this : Destroy Bayless and Beauvois ! :D

Maybe a day 🤞🤔

All races was Golden on Hard difficulties, TC1 or 0, ABS weak, PS5 with gamepad.
Hope you like this 😉
Many thanks for reading my post 😄

Audi e-Tron VGT: Interesting behavior without ABS. Dare I say it even turns better when it's switched OFF.

Feels like driving a heavy Formula E car. You can even tap the brakes if you want more rotation (as long as brake bias is at the rear; stronger = better turning)

Will give the Lexus VGT a try tomorrow.

At least my "No ABS" practice is starting to pay off, no longer done just "for fun".

Still waiting for the load cell kit upgrade, though...

Happy Pentecost !

You was 2 seconds faster than my Code Red at Atlanta ( with CRB of course) .
Last time i remember 2.27 2.26 runs was more than enough but without the well known suspects start right in front row .
Now it's worst , i loose CRB two times with the Express ( 7.14 total ) just few metres before the finish line 🤬

I did. Used a modified Alfa that actually has less horsepower then Gallo's and pretty much left him in the dust. If you can out drive the ai on the in-field, you pretty much have all the slower cars to slow them down (Because they are terrible at navigating traffic in the corners) and give you a massive gap.

This time I wasn't going for the fastest run in the WTC600, more like a "OK the guy is finally off his rocker" effect taking on the definitely-not-600PP AI from almost half a minute back with a bloody muscle car. The same GTO that has been seen earlier in this thread, still no swap etc. just with different colours for a change. Fortunately the small tap passing Blazsan didn't blow my CRB, then again it shouldn't as I was already ahead and on the inside.
