Good week again. FF Challenge I overpowered a bit with a tuned '93 Civic, unfortunately not much of a fan of the track. World Rally Challenge is stupidly easy, I won by nearly 20 seconds in a tuned Willys Jeep which was somewhere around 470 PP. I wonder how low you can go and still win. GT-R Cup is a fun race because the cars suit the track well and it runs into the sunset. Part tuned NISMO R32 was a bit too fast but really nice to drive, the AI is a bit too careful on the brakes so it's quite easy to pass them. The Pass was a lot of fun, great time of day and a good car to use, just watch for the AI taking some weird lines. WTC 700 has the chance of rain but I didn't get any, it also has the chance of the AI pitting an extra time on lap 9 which I did get. 700 PP '99 Impreza ended up being way too quick for them but it was a car I've had sitting around for ages, I was 30 seconds ahead before they did their second and largely pointless pitstop. From previous races there if you're around 670 PP and have decent fuel consumption it shouldn't be difficult, even more so if you get some rain.

Cars for this week:
full

My choices for the main weekly challenges (base game):
  • Japanese FF Challenge 450 @ Blue Moon Bay - I used a tuned Honda N-ONE RS with 100 horsepower and sports mediums. Got through the field fairly easily thanks to its nimbleness in the infield section. Top end speed leaves a lot to be desired, but the AI is incompetent enough for a tuned kei car to beat them fairly easily.
  • World Rally Challenge @ Sardegna Windmills - I used a bone-stock Subaru WRX Gr.B and destroyed the field. I did take some “questionable lines” for a few overtakes but this is a game, right?
  • Nissan GT-R Cup @ Montreal - I used a tuned KPGC110 GT-R (The Kenmeri to you and me) for this one…at 650PP on sports softs. I manage to gap second place by 13 seconds or so. It will spin its wheels out of CGV’s many chicanes if no care is taken but the oversteer is easily manageable. I love it. More fun to drive than its heavier 4WD successors.
  • The Pass @ The Nordschleife - The one thing that sucks is that I can’t use my own Porsche safety car in the WEC livery. Other than that, I breezed through first try. The E36 M3 stood no chance. Easy gold if you’re proficient at navigating the Green Hell’s technical section after the “Karussell”.
  • World Touring Car 700 @ Autopolis - I used a tuned 2009 Audi TTS with the turbo five-cylinder engine from the Quattro Pikes Peak car. It is a fantastic swap as it, one, sounds much cooler than the standard engine, two, allows you to recreate the TT RS, and three, gives you decent enough fuel economy to allow for a one-stop strategy on FM1 here. Depending on your approach, you may pit on either lap five or six. I changed my tires during my pit stop since the fronts were being eaten alive. I did not want massive understeer at the end of the race, so I opted to swap out the tires during my stop.

My six-star ticket netted me 500,000 credits. Not as good as the big million, but still plenty to spend on tuning another car in my garage.

Japanese FF Challenge 450: Mitsubishi FTO. EZ as per usual.
World Rally Challenge: Ford Escort RS Cosworth. Just absolute fun curb stomping the more powerful AI.
Nissan GT-R Cup: Nissan GT-R R35 Premium T-Spec. Tina returns and its another walkaway.
World Touring Car 700: Aston Martin Vantage GR.4. Only one I turned the difficulty down as honestly, GR.4 does nothing for me apart from the FF Mazda and Hyundai TCR.
Special Event: Tricky to do (Especially in the section its in) but possible.

You can get the Red Bull Jr under 700 pp with about 70lbs of ballast and racing hard tires. Trivializes the 700pp Autopolis. Zero stops, finished with at least 3/4 tires left and about 1.1 gallons of fuel lol

Most enjoyable without ABS and +5 brake bias.

Rallying is the only mode I find without ABS being the most beneficial. Rotates much better especially when brake bias is set mostly to the rear.

The unsafety car. 'Nuff said.

CGV in GT7 still feels off to me. F1 games made it much better, truth be told.

Finally, the WTC 700 race. Whenever I see Autopolis, it's RH tires to the rescue. That track induces massive loads whenever you corner.

Fuel Map 1. One stop strategy, new set of Hards.

For the Japanese FF, I used one of my favorites for this series,438pp Mazda Demio on SS. Won by around 5 seconds.
Gr.B Rally in my usual suspect, WRX. Easy win by almost 40 seconds.
For CGV, I opted to use a car I had yet to race, one of my R32's on SS. Good racing with a 9 second win.
Got Silver on my second try in the special and I'm not gonna bother for Gold. I have better racing to do. lol
WTC700 in the same car that has won this race, Gr.4 GTR. No rain unlike the last time so I had to work for it today. Pitted on lap 6 for fuel and some RM's. Came out in 10th, then the cars infront started pitting in the next few laps. Took first on the last lap and held on for a 5 second win over Blazsan.
Ticket got me 500k.

I've finished the new challenges yesterday night, now here's my short review.

The first three races were fairly easy.
Used a medium tuned N-ONE at BMB ( hey @TRB1999 ). The car lost a bit on the straights but its agility would outweigh these shortcomings through the infield ( A ).
Now for Sardegna I hopped into my new swapped Jimny - absolute overkill ! The car is way more powerful than what you can control so the drive was fun but not exactly easy. Take on the jumps slowly was a must.
CGV was a job for the LS7 swapped GT-R and another easy win. I really love that engine, even widely detuned you feel this never-ending power.
Since I always save non-race events for last the next thing to do was WTC 700 at Autopolis. I had tested that TTS '09 past week at two WTC 700 events so I thought why not try here ? Now the race turned out to be ultra tense : Needed to run the car at FM 6 for a one stop strategy, no rain and the Audi on-par with the AI and I could snitch the win just because V. Gallo got ridiculously slow through the final turns. Not exactly satisfying !
The Special Event was real fun ( I simply like these pass missions, cone missions and so on ). It's not a question of winning this imo, it's a question of keeping the car under control in order to get faster ... I tell you, I still got a lot to work on.

There's two things already that I'm looking forward to :

1 Taking an actual Rally car to Sardegna and see what I can do

2 Taking the swapped version of the TTS to Autopolis and see the difference
@RCKakashi14
I assume the Revolut TTS you have is a swapped car capable of doing a one stop strategy at FM 1 ... Is that correct ?
If not, would you share the setup ?

Ah, and btw my 6 star ticket was this :

EDIT
@Xtremrider591
Would you share your Megane Trophy '11 setup ?

It is engine swapped. I will share setup later since I am currently in a pet hospital for an emergency.
