Description: Influenced by the Audi Sport Quattro, one of the most famous Group B rally cars, the Obey RS Tetrad (Tetrad simply meaning four) is an agile, highly tunable road going rally car for the masses. Serving as an alternative to the Karin Sultan/Kuruma, The RS Tetrad has incredible off-road ability, but is just as capable as a road car. Thanks to its four wheel drive, the car has an incredible ammount of grip across all surfaces, and is considerably more so when customized. In addition to all performance parts, cosmetic options include both rally and touring car inspired body kits and rear wings, rally headlamps, spare tyres, roll cage, safari snorkel and a selection of race car inspired liveries, with sponsors such as Pisswasser (German Lager for a German car company
).
Though obviously a Quattro inspired car, GTA's tradition of choosing separate car models for front and rear designs means I had to think of a German car from the same era, with an aesthetic appeal that could well suit. Though sightly controversial it may be, the square shaped Mercedes 190 E Cosworth seemed a good match. Of course, the devs would work their magic to make sure the styling worked.
Despite the 1980's aesthetics, I think the car would be better suited to the Sports class rather than Sports Classics, since the 4WD and massive power would make it considerably faster and more agile than most of the older style cars in the game. This would be a close competitor to the Elegy RH8 and its sports car sibling, the 9F on road, but might just dominate all opposition on loose surfaces.
It's $400,000 price tag might seem much, but since its a very high performance vehicle, a lower price would make it a little overpowered for GTA Online.
Sold in a variety of colours at Legendary Motorsport. It is after all an 80's icon
