I regret not buying the Hydra when the sale was on. And now I have to buy it for full price. :banghead:

Doing the setup mission where you get Avi. My team is on the boat, I'm standing with my minigun out shooting the helicopter following us. Just before we get to the bridge to enter the river, the helicopter is shot out of the sky. I'm still standing and I turn around to face forward and out of nowhere the helicopter comes crashing down, explodes, and kills me.

Setup failed, and tons of laughter. :lol: I'm sure if I was seated, I would have been just fine as I was the only casualty of the explosion.
 
There were several times as pilot during the Prison Break, I would land at Trevor's air strip and Demolition would do an ace job at attacking the police force. Well, those exploded helicopter shells are lethal. I had one skip across the landing strip, and one drop out of the sky and blow up the Velum.
 
From all of these stories, it sounds like the attacking aircraft is programmed to purposely collide with players. These occurrences seem too common for it to be just pure luck (Well, it seems fairly unlucky to be killed by these).

The police helicopters are programmed to follow the plane and the escapees. However, when there's several helicopters in a small area and you add a trigger-happy Buzzard to the equation, you're bound to have something crash into the plane eventually. The Buzzard pilot is more or less at fault for this happening.
 
Anyone on PS4 looking for a heist member?
 
It seriously bothers me on how there's always a very high chance that at the part in the pacific standard heist where you need to jump off the cliff and parachute safely that one of your teammates will screw up and die. It's just so frustrating.
 
That's solved by having everyone drive straight to the dinghy instead of following the stupid route up the mountain given by default.
 
@Jahgee1124 what is the heist shares we went with? 60/40/40/40?
 
I was about to say that 60/40/40/40 doesn't add up to 200. Even then, it should be 40/20/20/20,.....
 
Anyone wanna do a Pacific Standard on PS4? I'm hosting.

Yeah, I'm recording my playthrough with Heists which was usually with randoms, a lot of footage was thrown in the trash when playing with randoms. :lol:

Easy method involves ship team member parachuting to the car from a nearby cargo lift thingy... in case that was unknown.

Can confirm. This method makes the setup stupidly easy. All you have to do is shoot the enemies near the crate, jump down, then avoid the pursuing enemies.
 
Good to know, never took that approach. Of course randoms are all I've ever done it with as well.
 
I never knew that and I've done that setup with friends countless times.
 
I got spots for Pacific Standard open right now.
